I was raised in a very talented family of musicians. My father has been one of Atlanta's a top-rated woodwind players for over 25 years. Aunts and Uncles all play professionally. I started playing the flute when I was in Elementary school. Had fun with it, so I continued on to excel in high school. I was lucky enough to attend camps such as Brevard Music Center and the Tanglewood Institute. I went to Boston University for school where I placed 2nd place in the prestigious James Pappoutsakis flute competition. At that point, I auditioned for the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, won the Principal Flute position. I have been fortunate to play for such great shows such as "Wicked" and "Aida" as well as all of the "staple" shows at the Fox theater. I am fortunate to also enjoy working with the lovely Trio Classique. We play many weddings and events. I teach around 20 kids per week at Carere Music, where I also run the store. I have been blessed to have 3 beautiful children to raise, which will my greatest challenge, but greatest pleasure of all!!!
I just realized that I typed -in-law. I don't know why I did that... I need to slow down I guess. I dropped them with your sweet MOTHER and we had a lovely conversation! Sorry, I guess I momentarily lost it! LOL...
Hey there! Your baby was wonderful Tuesday morning! I was beaming, I was so excited for her! I know she'll make you proud today (not that a mere performance could make you any prouder!). :) Hope your trip was great and profitable and that you enjoyed a couple of days in Savannah. We didn't go this time, BUT, I did actually remember to drop a couple of CDs off at your house (with your mother-in-law and H) this week. Hope you enjoy! Thank you so much for playing on my album! You are an amazing musician and player! Love ya, girl!
Being yourself is MORE than good enough...for someone truly worthy of you. You are a rock and you are also amazing. I've got your back, whenever and wherever. Hang tough.

Hey girl, I love the new page layout! Miss seeing you here but it hasn't been quite as relaxing as I would like, i.e. family stuff. Oh well! I hope you are enjoying your mini-vacation from work! Take care and we'll chat soon, I'm sure! K

RISE TO THE OCCASION!
We have been given the divine rite to choose.
I choose to respect, honor and love.
I choose to understand my boundaries.
I choose to give when I see a need.
I choose to receive what is good for me.
I choose to acknowledge truth & love.
I choose to be part of the solution.
I choose to believe that WE choose to love each other.
