Born and schooled in Missouri, further schooled in Iowa, and further schooled in Chicago, my day job is as a contractual high school psychologist, but my passion is performing. I perform solo musically as well as with backing musicians, and I am always seeking out the next film or theatre project.
I've been a performer as long as I can remember – first concentrating on acting, and now adding music to the mix. I released my self-produced debut CD in '05; 15 lyrical little stories ranging from quietly acoustic to full-band, highlighting passionate, dynamic vocal expression and intense, percussive guitar technique. My songs tend toward slice-of-life stories about love, life, laughter, and loss. It's pop-folk, infused with organic emotion and soul.
MUSIC NEWS!
* My newest album, a recording of a live concert from September 2008, called, "Favorite Hymns - Live!" features all acoustic hymns and other spiritual tunes. The album is now available at CD baby. I'll do some of the songs whenever I have a full-length gig.

Acting news/updates:
* My last theatrical project was over the 2008 summer, when I performed in a six week run in Chicago, of the 20th Anniversary of the musical, "Woody Guthrie's American Song," with Blindfaith Theatre Co., at Victory Gardens Greenhouse Theatre
