The evolution of R&P begins now…Introducing Jeannine Davis. In all forms of music someone comes along to alter and dare to even stretch genre boundaries. Jeannine has a vocal sound that carries the power and clarity of the early Tramaine Hawkins from the “Love Alive” conference albums. Jeannine also has jazz sensibilities that remind you of the silky, velvet nuances of singer, Nancy Wilson. With savvy and precision she manages to convey her vocal sound over urban beats with a musical overlay. Through soul-injected and heart wrenching lyrics she displays an authentic vocal passion. Born and raised in the entertainer’s breading ground of Las Vegas, Jeannine honed her skills in the Pentecostal church. Later moving to Georgia she joined Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church and immediately became a member of the praise team and the recording group Destiny Praise, the flagship artist of the church’s label, Destiny Style Records. As a featured vocalist in Destiny Praise, Jeannine has now branched out to record her debut solo project, "Guilty." This project will change how Christian music is viewed and pursued. In a landscape of artists who endeavor to only embrace traditional gospel or contemporary Christian music, Jeannine stands alone to make R&P (Rhythm & Praise) a reality.
