About me:
I'm a rhythm-less dancing queen, a cackling karaoke contestant and an elite marathon runner (in the Couch Potato Category).

I'm also an authority on parenting and children. I earned this title by keeping an active and exhaustive list of ways to embarrass my children, my children's friends, and myself in the company of my children and their friends.

When I'm not updating my list or conducting culinary experiments with Hamburger Helper, I'm an award-winning freelance writer and children's author. My articles and essays have appeared in over fifty publications including FamilyFun, The Christian Science Monitor, Wonder Time, The Denver Post and The Rocky Mountain News.
