After an extended time of resting, the experience is returning soon.
Jebus was born in the whispery month of august in the year two thousand and one. Three youths (Charlie, Chris, and Dave), weary of not playing songs of music decided that they should indeed. and so a holy triumvirate of 4/4 rhythm and questionable complexity was begotten.
The 3 began to play their instruments on stages, to the delight of throngs of Fairfaxians. They waxed some trax for these throngs, which were met with much jubilation and glee.
The 3 became The 4 after a chance encounter with The Chuck and the consequent joining of the band by he. Again, much jubilation and glee.
The next six months are kinda hazy.
The 4 were playing for lots and lots of folks and this made them very happy. So they made more songs of music and put them in people's ears. The throngs were joyous and The 4 were a'travelin 'round spreading the boogie-woogie.
Soon there were again only three, as the voice of inspiration called Chris off to Rome to enrich his soul and embiggen his brain a lil'. He's currently engaged to a rich Japanese princess who loves Black Sabbath and old people type things. (don't ask).
The 3 continue now to "rock" for the throngs, to whom we owe our inspiration, elation and continued edu-macation.
Thusly it begin
Hi JEBUS, Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.
This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out. During this tour last year they recorded a live CD available on Amazon entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has received rave reviews - pick up a copy and please Add Sweet As Your Friend On Myspace!
