Some people call me the Computer Wizard. My house is setup so I can watch what I record on the DVR in any room, at any time.
Give me some free time and you will find me chillin out to some tunes in my hot tub, which has surround sound with a subwoofer. I also like stretching out on the recliner or on the pit group in my home theater, which has 7.1 surround sound with 120 inch screen; and that is not the only big thing we got to play with around here honey.
I even listen to music without lyrics when I work on a customer's web site because it spurs me on.
I like just about any outdoor activity that can be fun including hiking, biking or jogging when it is done with a spirit of adventure. I like golf also. I am very talented at Tiger Wood's golf which I play on my PS3. I'd rather play a different course every time than belong to a country club. Same is true with Snow Skiing. Why go to the same resort every year, when you probably don't have the time in your life to ski all the slopes that exist?
Other things I like to do include (but not limited to):
Autocross, Motocross, Baseball,
Basketball, Billiards, Bowling, Cycling, Dancing,
Football, Golf, Hang Gliding,
Hockey, Inline Skating, Ice Skating,
Martial Arts, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing,
Caving, Snow Skiing, Soccer,
Swimming, Scuba Diving, Tennis, Racquet Sports,
Volleyball, Walking, Hiking,
Water Skiing, Surfing, Yoga,
Taking Photos, Making Music and Films
Music
I like the good stuff -- as long as it is melodic, poetic and original with a good beat. I like listening to Garbage, Brian Adams, and Juno Reactor, when I work out. When in the hot tub, I listen to mediation music like PyramidRadio on WinAmp, which is spreading Anapanasati Meditation, Vegetarianism, and Spirtual Science to the whole world.
Frank Zappa (RIP) is definitely at the top of my all time list. He is one of the best guitarist and satirists that ever lived.
I've had a recording studio since I was in college. I've met and befriended several
prominent figures in the biz. The stories I could tell. I love making music and recordings.
My stuff is more techno -- synthesizer with digital samplings and some guitar. I create background music and themes mostly for videos and web sites. My
pen name is Arthur Mills.
Movies
Recent favorites include some older movies like Michael Collins, Les Miserables, and the Hemp Revolution.
Of course, I've watched your usual Sci-Fi favorites like Star Wars, Dune, the Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Heavy Metal, comedies like Anger Management, academy award winners like What Dreams May Come, cult classics like Brazil, Chasing Amy and just about everything with Keanu Reeves including the spiritual enlightened Little Buddha. Pretty boring, huh?
My more recent favorites include "Picture Perfect". Thats more like me, where the guy is a hero, and the girl wins the guys heart in the end. "The Holiday" was good. "Dan in Real Life" and the "40 Year Old Virgin" strikes too close to home.
If I am really interested in a movie, I may read the book. As was the case with "2001 a Space Odyssey". There was so much in that book that the movie never covered. Actually, I don't think the movie would have made much sense without reading the book first.
Typically, I watch 2 to 3 movies a week now. I was up to 3 to 5. My taste in movies is much like my taste in music. Mainly I am into Sci-Fi, Comedy, and Fantasy with a twist of reality -- something that challenges the status quo -- everything Disney.
That which focuses in on the reality of human struggle and individual triumphs, engaging us with lots of passion and well thought out dialog. Believe it or not, I dream in Technicolor. I am working on some scripts. Most of the stuff in my imagination is better than what you will find on the screen.
FYI, I can’t stand formula films, and those cheap teen movies. Something is wrong with this picture. Hollywood needs to inspire a new breed of talented, independent authors. If we revisit Pygmalion or Kong again, I think I am going to puke. When considering the alternatives of watching another remake, Jersey Girl wasn't that bad. Hey! Writer, producer, director, Kevin Smith, happens to be one of my heroes. Unfortunately, the movie may as well have been named Jersey Cow. Personally, I thought the beautiful Liv Tyler, Lord of the Rings Famed Elf Princess, played her part very well. Oh! Do I have a crush on her?
Television
Boycott the MSM/TV News until they start doing their jobs again as the vangards of liberty and tell the truth. Call you cable company or satelite provider and suspend the service. You can get you TV programs off the internet at places like Hulu.
My favorite program right now is Lie to Me. I studied body language and facial expression in college. Odds are better than 50/50 that I can tell if you are lying when I take time to study your expressions.
What else can I say about TV? I am a member of the TV generation. We grew up in front of the TV. In preschool it was the Howdy Doody Show, then starting in
kindergarten it was Superman, followed by Man from Uncle, then Star Trek, Laugh In, Night Gallery and Kung Fu in high school. Up until now I never missed an episode of HBO's Rome, Star Gate SG1, Star Gate Atlantis, and Battle Star Galactic, but the SCI-FI Channel is switching to wrestling, so I'll have to go elsewhere.
I regularly record:
Joel Osteen - Why? It may be mystical thinking, but he is motivational. Everyone should also follow his suggestions, because it is actually great PR for one's self. Should there be something like GOD, I am sure that on Joel that spirit would call to deliver this message of love, prosperity and forgiveness.
Mind of Mencia - Dee, Dee, Dee -- He preys on stupid people.
My Name is Earl - Pay it forward.
The History Channel - Lost worlds, mysteries, etc.
I am trying to find time to catch up on the action I missed over the years. I'd like to catch up on Sex in the City. Where is that special person to share it with?
Books
I could go on and on about books. Typically I go for non-fiction. I doubt you know about this one. It is one of my favorites, "Captain of My Ship, Master of My Soul",
Skip Atwater. It is the true story about the Star Gate program. It is about government research that investigates our psychic abilities. It includes instructions and a documentary of how members of this Air Force team were able to transcend their bodies and spy on the enemy positions in Russia, and how the Russians were doing the same.
When I was growing up, one of my favorite books was Chariots of the Gods written by Erich Von Daniken. Look
at this video, if you want to strike up a conversation.
If you look for Gregg Braden, you will find scientific anwswers about faith. Greg is a scientist turned philosopher. My favorite book by Gregg is "The Isaiah Effect" -- Decoding the Lost Science of Prayer and Prophecy.
I met Gregg several years ago while attending a seminar he gave at Atlanta Unity. He shared additional scientific research with us about the halo effect, and the power of positive thinking and the power of prayer that was revealed by Discovery Magazine.
Right now I am finishing up, "Become a Better You" by Joel Osteen.
Heroes
I prefer the real life ones over the ones found in the comic books. Mainly sports, music and political figures who bucked the trend and cleared a path for the rest of us. People like:
Mike Smith (Atlanta Falcon's Coach),
Spartacus,
Ron Paul,
Bob Marley,
Janis Joplin,
Frank Zappa,
Michael Moore,
Bobby Kennedy,
Nelson Mandella,
John F. Kennedy,
George S. Patton,
Edward R. Murrow,
Martin Luther King Jr.,
Country Joe and the Fish.
And my dad, C.W. James, who is said to have invented the safety belt. Everyone buckle up.

About me:
Definitely not mediocre. I live and work at home, spend way too much time in front of my computer on the internet, especially Youtube. I do not get out much. When I do it usually involves some form of exercise. The truth is that I exist a bit like a Shaolin Monk and long for a female companion, hence why the name Jedi Master Roshi.
If you expect me to wear a condom, I may appear like a Catholic who is at odds with himself. I think abortion is wrong, and yet I do believe in birth control, especially when it applies to everyone else. If you expect me to tithe, I may look for something to come of it, which may make me appear Hindu. And, then if you got some peyote to share, I may go native on you. FYI, it is legal for the American Indians to use it on the reservation in their spiritually awakening rituals.
I don't go for online personal chats. I think chatting is cheap and shallow, and I happen to be pretty deep. The only time you will catch me chatting these days is when I am talking to support. I think chatting is fine when it the fastest way to the top of the support que; but, it is cheap and impersonal. In HS I conducted this experiment where two of us talked to someone, each with a different ear. The only thing they will make out and remember is their name. Try it yourself. Wives frequently accused accuse their husbands of not paying attention, when they plop down in front of the TV after work.
About 16 years ago, I got caught in a time warp. On Halloween it occurred to me that maybe it is like The Rocky Horror picture show, which keeps playing over and over again. I missed its debut -- my first wife went with someone else. Wish I had seen it play at the Roxy Music Hall in Hollywood, when I went to visit friends in California. Perhaps then I would have been prepared for what was to follow.
The ex-wife met her death some years ago.
She overdosed on an over the counter medication while in the care of a nursing home in Massachusetts. Another tragedy that could have been avoided, if medical marijuana was legal. She had MS (Multiple Sclerosis), which has been successfully treated with marijuana. When marijuana was not available, she would choose to self medicate herself with an over the counter medication.
So does marijuana lead to harder drugs, when it was the legal ones that killed her? Marijuana, which is not lethal, is still illegal. Where is the justice in that thought. There hasn't been a single death attributed to marijuana.
When she died, I was released from the spell she cast on me, but not the pain of the loss. The son I had by her is now a young man. My relative age really is 44. Everyone who has guessed says so.
Basically, I am a family man, now bachelor who likes being D&D free. My vices are limited to the occasional beer, some free soft porn on the Internet (thank you Paris), and some good wine with supper, and the occasional party favor. FYI, the bird loves children, and so do I. I can't live without fun forms of exercise, my hot tub with surround sound, and my home theater.
I spend most of my time working on one of my computers and Internet. I miss doing things together with first wife (now deceased). We would fly kites, ride bicycles, play tennis, go fishing, white water rafting, camping and hiking together alot before we were married; somehow less after we got married, and I got caught up in the rat race. We were so happy together for so many years.
Now I am free of the rat race. I've been doing this gig for 14 years; and, I miss having a companion. I work at home, and live alone for the most part.
I came to realize a long time ago that there is nothing more powerful than a thought whose time as come. Question is: Are you ready to cut loose of the leaches? Can you see through the lies, the deceit, the cheating and the hypocrisy that surrounds us all?
Its OK. I hit reset. I am starting over again. NO FEAR this time around, having seen how it plays out.
Yoda was right about fear leading to hatred and the dark side. Free yourself of the burdens that fear places on you.
God is good, and good people should not fear. Love God and you too will lead a charmed life. Saint Frances of Assisi knew how.
That is me in a nutshell. I like poetic justice.
Until now the power brokers game was always Divide and Conquer. That's why am an independent. I won't fall into that trap again. If you step back, it
is so easy to see how we were all sold out by so these so called public servants
so they could move up into that house in the country...
Democrats and Republicans are Mob Families
....
It should be even more evident now that we have someone from Chicago moving into the Oval Office. Can you name the entities drawing 5% or more of your wages starting with government and insurance?
FYI, the original IRS Charter, which was disolved after the Civil War, called for a tax on foreign nationals. It never happened. Today's Mexican and East Indian laborers do not pay a dime in income tax. I expect that many of them do not pay as much into Social Security as they should. Aren't you bit curious as to how the US war against slavery, ended up creating a slave state?
My grandfather, a banker, US Citizen, lived in the US 100 years ago, and he legally never paid a dime income tax. Of course, he died long before I was born; but, it is a testiment as to how quickly (in just two generations) we were programmed to give up a major portion of our wages to the government neocon leaches, without question.
But wait, it gets worse. A guy struggling to survive pays at a higher rate (28% of income) than an investor on Wallstreet (25% capital gains). Only the later is actually considered income by the US Constitution. The former makes you a slave to the state. So how did the US Government leaches survive with out income tax 100 years ago?
Foreign Corporations are in the same boat; and, here is an interesting footnote, the Federal Reserve, which is neither Federal nor a Reserve, is controlled by international bankers. Wake up America, you are being enslaved by these foreign concerns. The role of the Federal Government is limited to protecting the nation and our Constitutional freedoms. Well they are doing a real bank job. Is it any wonder why American corporations are moving overseas and why American companies are laying off US Citizens in favor or hiring an unamerican work force? It is all about the taxes.
Really I don't have a problem with the foreign nationals and the foreign corporations, if they would help to pay off the national debt just like everyone else. After all they are the ones reaping the benefits from the free world we created from all this military spending.
See... It is all about choices. You can submit to the programming of CNN (the Communist News Network) or Fox (the Faux News) and let the virus they breed fill your system, or turn it off. They will fill your head with a fascist propoganda, if you let them, that has been cropped to fit the predominant dogma so its easy to swallow.
Makes me yearn for the days when the water was clean and sex was dirty. Now the treasury is a hole in the ground that leads straight to China, and drinking water is almost as valuable as gasoline.
When the world flips on its axis, you can shave your head like a pop star. I however like the alternative. You too can choose to live on the edge like me, without taking up much space, or contributing to global warming. After all it is the Internet Age.
Sometimes I wish everyone could see the spin that our political and business leaders put on the story; but I know it would turn your stomach. See in this town you can crush a story with money. I've seen it done while on the job at IBM. I saw Obama do it with his huge campaign budget.
Make no mistake,
the only presidential candidates that were going to bring about any real change were
Ron Paul and the third party candidates he endorsed like Ralph Nader. Kucinich is also a good guy. At least he had the guts to stay out of the closed session of congress last spring, 2008. As far as I am concerned, vote for either of the two party presidential candidates only encourages the politicians to act out. Official they will deny using planning a forecasting models when making policy.

Oh my gosh! Am I "Too White and Nerdy"?
Hopefully not entirely. Even so, thanks for the plug Al. The first part is definitely me. I do create web sites and occasionally I play Knights of the Old Republic. Let me know, if you would like to play a round of online golf. I also play Tiger Woods 08 on the PS3.

Who I'd like to meet: A woman with a
Heart of Gold. Perhaps a teacher who is into
older men, and honest behavior. Someone who understands that communication and working as a team is the key to a healthy relationship. Someone who feels as I do that too much goes unsaid these days.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
When you look at today's champions, it looks like we are turning into a nation of cheaters. When you got people like Floyd Landis, Barry Bonds, Governor Spitzer, and our illustrous commander and chief to look up to, is it any wonder that this behavior is spilling over into every aspect of society?
As for women who I'd like to meet. Well the media has set the bar so high, and the internet set so low that I want to limbo on out of here.
I would prefer a hot librarian (not necessarily from the constellation Libra). Libra is a good sign though. I like educated "dirty girls". Eye glasses are a real turn on. Maybe I'm looking at them and thinking, um, splash guards.
Other people who I I would like to meet include: Joel Osteen, Eric Idle, another Yogi like myself, and, Milla, the red head in this video clip. Check her out. She kicks ass.

So, a great tasting coffee(several blends to pick from), for a great cause and a wonderful way of remembering Bob Marley, who brought so much positivity to this planet.
How is it going? I have some new songs up on my profile. Pretty unique and unusual sounding stuff. Check it out if you get a chance. Here's a guitar video I did awhile back, enjoy!
Hey Jedi Master Roshi, hope you're having a great day! Say, do you believe in God? If so, do you think it comes with a tangible science we can hope to understand one day, or should it remain a mystical concept?
THANKS FOR THE LOVE SUPPORT & FRIENDSHIP! ~Kathy.. with Tammy & Staff of The Main MROL Website Robin, George, Darren, Penney, Evan, Dealzy, Leo & Friends Please visit main MROL website.. MickeyRourkeOnLine. com ....
Dear friend, I cannot thank you enough for your kind support and friendship! Welcome to our ever growing family of friends. I'm really happy you have decided to become friends of the Wake Up (to child abuse) MySpace Music page. Just by adding us to your friends you have already demonstrated that you have a good heart and are willing to take a step towards ending the hidden suffering of so many.
We also dare to hope you will be able to persuade some of your other MySpace friends to join our just fight against child abuse by adding us to their friends too. The larger our family of friends becomes, the more people we will be able to reach and educate about this terrible ‘disease’ sweeping across the world which blights the lives of more children than you may imagine. Please take a moment to read some of the statistics on child abuse highlighted on our profile and within our blogs. I am sure you will be just as shocked and appalled as we are when you find out the full extent of this scourge.
The innocent children suffering such terrible abuse need all the help they can get. Increased awareness of this foul concealed crime will help to prevent more children living through the agonising torment which I was forced to experience.
I hope you have a great day and look forward to hearing from you soon with your views and comments on this important issue,
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here: http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4
