Sounds Like
Someone in a room, passing the time, in the Upper Haight, San Francisco, California. Sometimes healing himself, sometimes causing himself more pain w/ the music.
From a small town in rural, southeastern Iowa (Sigourney). Made electronic music in middle/high school. Swore I would never play guitar. Went to school at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Studied psychology and philosophy. Made shit for music. Moved to San Francisco. Made a bit more electronic music. Got a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. Picked up guitar along the way out of emotional necessity. Wrote a few songs. Experimented. Recently went to Australia and purchased a little ukulele for 25 Aussie dollars (dirt cheap American). Am addicted (won't be giving up guitar though). This brings us more or less to the present. Also currently unemployed and wanting to see more of this lovely world.
Hey! I thought I recognized you, but I wasn't sure. You shoulda said hello. But I am glad you enjoyed the show, I had seeeooooo much fahn. I totally didn't rock out on the guitar, though... more like chickened out on a solo. (why i was a wave took forever to end) RAH. Maybe tonight I won't puss out at the House of Shields.
I'm happy to announce that my new album "Songs From The Films Of David Lynch" is out now.
"Truly unsettling and perplexingly brilliant... testament to both the quality of Lynch’s soundtracks and Truax’s talents" - The Skinny
"Truax is paying homage to a kindred spirit with this album. It's the best kind of tribute – affectionate and respectful, but with its own quirks and imaginative leaps and its own distinct identity." -The Scotsman

Yo, I need your phone number. Also I'll be in Palo Alto this weekend. Atmosphere show sold out, but I'm going. Anyway, gimme your number. My new one is on my facebook.
As long as the semen stays a word and your monstrous wave doesn't hit San Francisco in actually, causing total destruction, then I'm happy to be disturbed. Thanks.
I'll pitch the dinner idea to Jessica if she calls.
I'm fairly certain that I would routinely masturbate to the Suicide Girls if I were a heterosexual man because every heterosexual man that I'm friends with has masturbated to them. Granted, I haven't verified that masturbation has occurred, but I feel that it's a safe assumption. Also, I don't think I'm being radical by imagining myself as a heterosexual man in such a way. Thoughts?
