Been playing a lot in Nashville with other cool players. Check out the video I did at Bourbon St. Blues & Boogie Bar.
Always a lot of good players playing with/as J Edwards' Band.
Al Green, Peter Gabriel, Mother's Finest, Thomas Dolby, Roachford, The South, Tokyo Joe, The Soul Mites, Brent MacDonald, Lundy, Greg Rue, Ryan Adams, mostly local people who I could listen to for days, Danny Pierce (most fantastic country voice that no one will ever hear), Jon Ragsdale and of course this man, Chris Conner.
Sounds Like
I just thought you might be interested in this video shot at the world famous Bourbon St. Blues and Boogie Bar in Nashville, TN with Rickey Godfrey and some super Nashville players.

There is way too much to say about J Edwards Band. No matter what setting, there is always loads of talent to be presented with this band. The last 5 years have been filled with turn-overs within the group, but every time was a new open door. You can hear experienced musicians with a rough and raw sound. J Edwards' Band is playing somewhere most nights of the week.

J, Just watched a bunch of videos of you on Youtube and I have to say....you have one of the best voices in the business period. I'm not talking locally or even in SC....I'm talking in the whole music business. I am truly honored to know you, She
Yo and yo, ho'! Seriously, a great jam last week, and your contribution was such a high point. What soul! Not to mention a bucket o' nutz. Sorry 'bout the delay, MySpace has been messing with the msg system and it hadn't been functioning on this end. Anyway, nothing but a pleasure to meet you and play. Til next time, stay well!
A very special thanks to my friend J. Edwards, who donated his equipment and time. With his many years of experience in the music business, he helped set things up, and made my B-Day Rock n Roll!! It would not have been the same with out his help. Thanks J. and have fun in Nashville. See you soon, Ray
