I have a lot of interests, but my favorite by far is wheeling in my Jeep. (And yes, I have all of my teeth and don't live in a trailer park. Not that there's anything wrong with that!) Of course living in northwest Ohio, there aren't many places to go. So when I go wheeling, it is usually quite a drive. I usually end up in Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan or Tennessee somewhere. I've been to the Land Between the Lakes region, Cumberland, Livingston(Before The Man shut it down) and the Daniel Boone areas of Kentucky and Oak Ridge and Jellico in Tennnessee. I've also wheeled in the upper penninsula of Michigan on Drummond Island. And I've wheeled in French Lick Indiana as well as the Badlands and Haspin Acres Offroad Parks. I REALLY want to make it out west to Moab SOON. Several of my friends have went and just loved it. I love my Jeep but it is making me go broke REALLY fast. Just Empty Every Pocket! So I either need to win the lottery or find myself a sugar daddy!
I also love to go kayaking. I love anything to do with the outdoors. Camping with friends is a blast. I love just about all arts and crafts, but my favorites are jewelry making and scrapbooking. I love making things with my hands. I would die if I couldn't. And I love spending time with my family and friends.
PROOF POSITIVE THAT JESUS IS A BUCKEYE FAN!!!
Music
I basically like a little bit of everything, so it's kind of hard to narrow it down. The only thing I cannot handle is rap. Hate it. It is NOT music! Also not a fan of blues, jazz or whiney country. But if I have to name a few of my favorites, they are: Maroon 5, Weezer, The Offspring, Pink, John Mayer, Seether, Buckcherry, Kid Rock, OAR, Michelle Branch, 30 Seconds to Mars, INXS,U2, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms, Ben Harper, Staind, Ben Folds, Simply Red, Puddle of Mudd, Blink 182, Three Days Grace, Crowded House, Good Charlotte, Hoobastank, R.E.M, Nickelback, Collective Soul, The Red Jumpsuit Aparatus, Brand New, Soul Hooligan, My Chemical Romance, Greenday, Everclear, 3 Doors Down, Jars of Clay, Dave Matthews, The Police, Linkin Park, Lenny Kravitz, The Eagles, Fuel, Breaking Benjamin, Incubus, Counting Crows, Depeche Mode, George Strait and the Mavericks.
Movies
Well, the ones I starred in have a special place in my heart. ; ) Other than that, I mostly like comedies. No mushy girly movies. Some scary movies are cool too.
Some of my favorite movies are Dodgeball, Old School, Anchorman, the 40 Year Old Virgin, Borat, Dangerous Liasons, Tommy Boy, Grease, Step Brothers, Wedding Crashers, Office Space, Pretty in Pink, 16 Candles and the Breakfast Club. I basically like stupid humor and 80's stuff. Reno 911 was of course, sophomoric humor, but damn it made me laugh.
I also love almost all animated movies. Which is a good thing when you have a five year old.
I basically just like very shallow movies. Nothing artsy fartsy and NOTHING science fiction. I hate that crap.
Television
SCRUBS!!! That is my all time favorite show (As evidenced by the video clips below). I also LOVE Family Guy, Third Rock from the Sun, The Drew Carey Show, Reno 911 and Spongebob Squarepants. I also like the REAL cop/forensics shows; The First 48 Hours, American Justice, Snapped, Forensic Files, etc. I hate CSI shows and all of the fake stuff. If it isn't real, I won't watch it. I sound morbid don't I?! Of course I love Extreme 4 X 4, Up on the Rocks, Trucks & Offroad TV.
I have the attention span of a fruit fly. I therefor don't read a lot of books. The last book I read was 500 pages and I had to renew it 10 times from the library before I finished it. No joke! But I just got a book from the library on advice from a friend. So I will be tackling The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam and The Crusades. I hope to not have to renew it 10 times like I did the other one. Maybe this one will only take 9 renewals.
Of course I read lots of kids books. My son's current favorites are, "Chip and the Karate Kick", "The Selfish Crocodile", "Sheep in a Jeep" (A boy after my own heart!) & "If You Were Born a Kitten". I especially love the last one. It is a really sweet book.

Heroes
Jesus Christ, my Grandma, & all of our armed forces stationed around the world. Especially the ones in the middle east. Thank you so much for your sacrifices!

About me:
Although I think I look nothing like all of those gorgeous celebrities, I will take it!!!!
..
I'm a mom of a 5 year old son and my favorite thing in the world (besides him) is to go wheeling! I am from Columbus, but now live in Toledo. Will be moving back that way soon. I'm torn because I love my friends here in Toledo and will miss them like crazy. But I also miss my Columbus friends too. Plus Columbus is a lot closer to my wheeling spots. (By 3 hours anyway) I LOVE to meet fellow Jeep owners, so anyone with a Jeep is automatically my new friend.
You can always count on me for an honest answer, whether or not you want to hear it! I have a pretty decent sense of humor, I think. I verge on sarcasm, but try to keep that under wraps. I strive every day to be a better person, but usually fail miserably! I am a a semi- high maintenance tomboy. I love to go camping, but just can't pack lightly no matter how hard I try. I can clean up when the situation dictates. I don't play well with prissy chicks (Except for Crispy). I hate drama. I am a huge car buff. I like to have fun and laugh. I try to focus on the positive in challenging situations and stressful moments in life. I love to get together with my friends for a girl's night out. I love almost all arts and crafts. I especially like scrapbooking. My son is now 5 and I am still on his age 1-2 book. You could say I am slightly behind. I cannot sit still for any length of time. I ALWAYS have to be doing something. I get bored VERY easily. And I probably have Attention Deficit Disorder!
Who I'd like to meet: Cool people who like to wheel! A few in particular ; )
Jesus Christ. But I hope that is a little way off!
JOHN MCGINLEY!!!! I admit he is an acquired taste, but there is just something about him. I think he is really cute. Plus he is a terrific guy in real life.(from what I've seen).
Hal Sparks Jr. He is absolutely hysterical and never fails to make me laugh. And he ain't ugly either!
Stephen Lynch. My gosh he is soooooo bad, but sooooooo darn funny. I never fail to laugh at his comedy songs.
Lenny Kravitz too. Not only is he eye candy and an awesome musician, he too, is a wonderful human being by all accounts.
That sounds like fun, what happened ? I didnt make it this year to any but I will next year. I started a house late last fall and have busy with it. I was in it the first of the year but still all the odd and ends to do I used all my vacation time for that.
Damn girl... at least your using it! Things have been pretty crazy down here in NC... lots of travel and I'm getting married next weekend! Haven't done much wheeling this summer ... planning a for a few Jeeps jams next year though. Maybe we can get some Jeeping in this year!
You could almost put a Dana 60 in the rear for what they are going to fix you D35 for. If it need all that I would check into upgrading the rear.. It might be cheaper to get a 8.8 or Dana44 if you don't want to go D60 yet. It sure would keep you from breaking so easy and spending all this money again. Just something to think about.. No better time to upgrade than when your broke down and it's winter coming up.. That way you can hit it hard come spring..
That's exactly why I'm out shopping around tonight for multiple opinions :) Not getting screwed no mo. They should know that they can't fool a Jeep owner...LOL. Give 'em hell.
Thomas loves on everyone else too. Me and him have an understanding though. I tell him he is not a lap dog even though he thinks he is. I think he would bark if he could. He sure does love the dog's food even though that's what binds him up...LOL Enjoy the rest of your week woman. Hope ya get the Jeep back lickity split.
I'll take Wally if you take Fat Thomas...and all of his medical issues. I'm so glad he's 12 and not 2. He shouldn't have too much more time left to torture me...LOL
