JEF mix punk, new wave and late 80’s/early 90’s indie rock n roll in their music. It’s a powerful and catchy combination, which makes the songs very interesting. JEF is a band that is not thinking too much about which music style is in, out, good, bad, right or wrong at the moment. JEF is not a band which is following the music trends out there. JEF is a band that loves to play live and always deliver great concerts to their fans. JEF has toured: Norway, UK, Germany, Denmark, Poland and Italy. In April 2006 JEF toured China for the first time. Politic is not the core issue in JEF. Good songs and great music is much more important to the band members. Lyrics are always very personal expressions. BIO: JEF was formed during the summer of 2000. The band members played in Punishment Park (Kjell & Pez) & Twigs (Katy), both great bands from Bergen rock city, before Jef was formed. The band has toured a lot since they started in 2000 and released 2 vinyl 7” ep’s (only 250 copies released of each on coloured vinyl) + 3 cd ep’s are out on October Party Records in Beijing/China + Jef are included on comp-cd’s all over the world.
