Television
I rarely even turn my television on other than to throw a movie in..but if I test it to see if it still works I will watch the following...
Discovery Channel /Comedy Central / Cartoon Network (Adult Swim)/History Channel / Curb Your Enthusiasm /Dexter and Adult Swim are great when I have the time...(I have since cut out most of the broadcast news as they now almost serve to entirely and purposely misinform - the 4th estate is now as much of the problem as our political parties so we are pretty much screwed.
Otherwise I am feeding my information-junkie self and listening to Chicago Public Radio.
Books
....when I dream
...
Attempting to read more often, but when I actually get the time it is mostly history, religion, politics, and then some good horror to round it out.(actually makes sense when ya think about it)~
and don't forget the graphic novels....and of course the top of the list is the Sin City books from Frank Miller & The Kingdom Come series from Alex Ross and Mark Weid.
Also have a decent collect of almost all of the issues of Heavy Metal magazine including every one from the first 10 years.
NAKED RAYGUN - HOME ( One of the greatest bands that ever came out of Chicago )
Meet my boy LOKI..otherwise known as "The VIOLATOR" J
View my 15 minutes...actually few seconds of fame....of course that is until the tragic events of late October 2013. Anyways...Im the skinny kid with a mullet in front at 1:08 and rolling around on the crowd at 1:13 and black silhouette center/right @ 0:37 - filmed live in Chicago 1992.
In case you were living under a rock in the 90's...this is
My personal objectives are happiness/ peace of mind/ & enlightenment
Priorities in life would be friends, family,& loved ones...(you know who you are)..
Be comforted in the fact that if your reading this from somewhere in the United States that you live in a country that belongs to the top 20% of human beings which possess 80% of the world's wealth, not that you have any real part in it, but I guess what I am trying to say is...it could be worse.
So you have that goin' for ya....
.............
I share a small home with a large dog (see pics). He apparently continues to allow me to live here as long as I provide all income, housework, feed him regularly, and keep up the mortgage. Its not so bad, sounds like most living arrangements I know of =)
I enjoy "playin" my bass, breaking my PC, and monitoring the Internet for global and national security threats. When not doing the above I try to see my friends and family ( for whom I have much love ) whenever I can..which isn’t enough and sucks and always needs improvement.
Other than that I ponder such things as politics, philosophy, world events, religion, music and the arts, why some people are smart and the majority are stupid and the further decline of modern civilization...the relevant things. All sports, irrelevant social organizations, reality television, and American Idol conversations can be better inflicted upon others. I'm not judgin'...I'm just sayin'
Suggestions:
Appreciate life the best you can because if tomorrow you happen to wake up and find that thousands of rabid squirrels are awaiting you outside your home...the end of the world has probably begun and now its too late for you...
All for now….enjoy your day

People that are honest, intelligent, or just good natured....otherwise none of the self-delusional, narcissistic, or painfully ignorant that apparently breed much more rapidly than the rest of us. As far as persons of status, many have passed on, but since that has it's obvious difficulties....the living would be....Trent Reznor, Dave Grohl, Mike Ness, Edward Norton, Frank Black, Chuck Palahniuk, Stephen King, Clint Eastwood, Kevin Smith, Michael Crichton, Kurt Vonnegut, Dennis Miller, and Stephen Hawking.
Kurt Vonnegut and Michael Crichton have since passed on....further evidence that none of us are getting out alive =(
DROPPING BY TO SAY THANX FOR BEING A FRIEND OF CRISS KARVER AND THE LUNACY MACHINE. ALSO, WANTED TO WISH YOU A FABULOUS DARK AND TWISTED WEEK!!!
HERE IS A PREVIEW FOR THE UPCOMING STORY 'OUIJA' WHICH IS ONE OF MANY TWISTED RHYMES INSIDE THE NEW LUNACY MACHINE.
OUIJA
Is there someone there? Is there someone there? Come talk to us tonight. We’re asking for the dead to speak, It’s only us . . .my wife and me. Come tell us how you died.
The oracle moved about the board A figure-eight reply. The oracle started slowing down, then stopped . . . above the Y.
Tell us more, tell us more, what brought you here to me? Tell us how you died tonight. Tell us when you died tonight. Tell us what brings you here tonight. Keep spelling it for me.
The figure eight continues and around the board it moves. It’s slowing down, it’s slowing down. Come, spirit, talk to me right now, Tell us tonight, because we want to know . . Then the oracle stopped on the letter O.
You’re coming in so very clear, Now tell us why you’re roaming here, on this dark and stormy night. Speak to me, speak to me, Travel through this board to me. Tell us why you sleep tonight beneath your resting tomb. Speak to me, speak to me, speak to me now. Then the oracle stopped on the U.
Y-O-U, Y-O-U, this isn’t making sense. You spelled out, YOU is this what you meant to do? Then the oracle stopped on YES.

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my 2nd horror novel SACRIFICE is now in stores everywhere, including Amazon.com! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride! Here are a couple reviews it's gotten so far:
“SACRIFICE is a full frontal assault on your senses. It is a dark, brutal, bloody and terribly frightening book. Everson went deep into some dark abyss to bring this book to the light of day.... I highly recommend SACRIFICE.” —Famous Monsters of Filmland
“John Everson manages in SACRIFICE to dispense buckets of blood, provide edgy perversity, and walk the tenuous tightrope of horror and sex without falling: It’s rather an amazing feat.” –Hell Notes
