About me: Lynne and I were married way back in 1978. That was the second greatest day of my life. The greatest day of my life was on 2/14/1979. That's the day I met Jesus Christ. God had been squeezing my heart(it felt like anyway) before then trying to get my attention to let me know just how much He loved me. But I was stubborn and thought that I could do this thing called life my way and on my own. But finally I realized that I could not do life on my own. I had a longing in my heart for more than life, or worldly pleasures could offer. I had an uncle, Benny Parks, who had talked with me about giving my life over to Christ, and how fulfilled and happy I would be if I would do that. And the thing that confirmed what he said was that he was a changed man.
So I prayed and invited Jesus Christ to come in and take over my life. I asked Him to forgive me of all my sins and to empower me to live for Him. And boy, did He ever do that. Jesus came in and radically changed me and made me a new person. I was changed from the inside out. I felt complete for the first time in my life. Through all these years I have faced many hardships, but I have never felt alone. Jesus has always been faithful to me and my family. I have not always been faithful to Him, but He has never left me alone.
You know, Jesus loves you too. He loves you so much that He walked out of Heaven, and was born into this world, just so He could let you know how much He loves you. In fact, He loves you so much that He took all of your sins, addictions and failures(which would have sent you to Hell)and payed the price for you(by dying on the cross)so you would not have to pay for them yourself. THAT is how much He loves you. And after dying for you, three days later He rose from the dead to give you complete victory. The Bible says it this way-For God so loved the world(you), that He gave His only Begotten Son(Jesus), that whosoever believeth in Him(trusts Him), should not perish(in Hell), but have everlasting life(in Heaven).
Today is your day. Call on Jesus now and repent(ask for forgiveness and turn your life over to Him)and invite Him to come in and be your Lord and Saviour. I promise He will not let you down.

I am doing wonderful. Raising money for a screen printing press to be able to print my own cant ignore the poor shirts, and not only that, but employ homeless folks to print... so yeaaaaah thats a dang task ;) I wrote a new blog about it.
I will slowly be making my way to Louisiana for thanksgiving and then Los Angeles to work on skid row after that. I will see if I can fit it all in! Hope you guys are super duper!
