Hi. I'm from Maine. A small town all tucked away, but I just tell everyone I'm from Portland because that's the only place in Maine that anyone has heard of. I now live in Boston and go to Emerson College. In a strange twist of fate, I work for the government.
The Portland music scene is filled with the best slew of musicians that you'll find anywhere you go. Above that, they're great people with an extraordinary sense of community. Check all of them out.
Since all I really want to do in life is record, I have a bit of music available for you to hear. Mind The Gap is my first album, released in 2007. It's a 13-song LP, and it was met with a favorable review in The Portland Phoenix. Additionally, I have also an EP called The Bird Flew, and I've completed my second full-length album, titled Living Room. The Bird Flew was completed & released in early 2008, while Living Room was completed as the summer of 2008 came to a close but has yet to be officially released.
I JUST FINISHED my third LP, titled Portraits of Poor Traits. I'm releasing both Portraits of Poor Traits with Living Room this fall. As in, right now. You can get them for FREE online. Hard copies soon. I hope you dig my sounds.

"Be Here Now" Festival Scheduled for Starks, ME, August 14-16
Starks, Maine -- The hill at Harry Brown's Farm will come ALIVE
with music, giant puppets, belly dancing, and fire twirling three days during tie "Be Here Now" Festival this August.
Organizers hope to build on the success of “Harry Hoe-Down,” the first festival held on the site this season, where thousands of people braved the late June rains to bring to life Harry Brown's vision of “free people assembling freely.” An icon of Maine's counter-culture, Brown has been hosting festivals on his land for nineteen years to support efforts to legalize marijuana in Maine.

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4
i had been working on some new stuff for a while and then scrapped it all because it wasn't the direction i wanted to go. just started from scratch within the past couple of weeks. i'm hoping to have at least one song done and recorded with ouellette by the end of summer. it's weird i was just wondering how you were doing with your music yesterday haha
