I'm a part time musician playing soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxes and flute. Among other things, I've played with a bunch of big bands in various places (mostly Colorado Springs and Madison, Wisconsin). Since moving to Boston's North Shore in 2004, I've played lead alto for the Gordon College Jazz Ensemble and tenor sax with Dick Donovan's Orchestra. Other groups I've played with include the New Hampshire Jazz Orchestra, Dave Rasmussen's Sax Factory and Paul Combs's Pocket Big Band. Currently I'm playing bari with Dave Rasmussen's Jazz Factory Big Band and with the North Shore Saxophone Quartet. I am often found hanging around the Sunday night jazz jam at the Bangkok Paradise Thai restaurant in Salem (weekly from 6 - 10 PM, come on out!).

Man, it has been a long road since I met James in Brighton in 1999 and we have had some great adventures. Getting this disk out, with all the recording, getting into all the new technologies, incorporating more lovely musicians and arriving at the winning formula of Esteban and Jules, mixing, mastering, designing, gigging, registering, forming our own label XirniguitoMusic, all the paperwork, blood sweat and tears, it feels like we just had a baby except even more painful!!
We of course appreciate all the incredible support and all you friends in Myspace help make us feel connected and appreciated and your feedback has helped us keep on keepin on!
We are going to celebrate on Saturday at the album launch and we'd LOVE it if some of you myspace people who we havent met could come and we can thank you personally in the flesh!
