I'm an upright & electric bassist attending Berklee. Dig all kinds of music & people, love seeing live music, especially jazz, funk, or jazz-ish stuff. This is going to be where I'll showcase my current & past projects, as well as link to them.
Since the spring of 2005 I've been playing with the Matt Germak Band; we've been gigging hard here in Boston and in NYC, and recently began playing shows more regionally, so check us out!
Other projects currently:
Chet, a bluegrass-rock group comprised of myself on bass & my friends Matt Sorensen (drums), Joe Koubek (guitar, vocals), & Will Mitchell (guitar, keys, vocals). Chet's music is featured in the recordings above.
Boston Common, an R&B/funk cover band that's really taken off. We generally play once a week or so in Boston, check the site for locations.

Thought you might find this mildly amusing... It's the mini-movie of me & Queen Elizabeth II playing poker... It features my good mate Leo Sayer (yes, the 70's pop icon!) as the Queen and is now viewable on the web, courtesy of the folks at youtube.com (although whoever copied it to youtube unfortunately clipped off the punchline at the very end!)..
It also features a guest appearance from Little Britain's Steve Furst....
A nutty little performance, but it was a good laugh doing it!
