G.B., Scorpions, Buffett, Peter Mayer, The Gibson Explorer, Strait, Jovi, Chesney, VH, Poison, Tesla, John Denver, Crue, Dan Fogelberg, so on. - What?
Sounds Like
I guess if you took Garth Brooks, Jimmy Buffett, George Strait, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Bon Jovi, put them all in a giant blender... that's just gross, but close!
Born and raised in the great state of Maine, Jeff Caron picked up on music at an early age. His passion grew as he got older and started learning the guitar at age 11. His inspiration was the guitar players of the 1980's Hard Rock scene such as; Scorpions, Van Halen, Poison, Bon Jovi, Yngwie Malmsteen, among many. From Junior High all the way through High School, Jeff hooked up with other young rockers and formed many different rock bands.
By the early '90's, that kind of music died quickly and "Grunge" or "Alternative" rock took over. Set in his ways, Jeff didn't want any part in that so he started changing the radio station to country music. He heard Garth Brooks for the first time and was hooked, almost hypnotized!
By the time Jeff was 18 (late 1992) he sought out for a more musical life and packed his car up and drove to southern Florida. As he was starting a new life right off A1A on the treasure coast, Jeff was quickly introduced to Jimmy Buffett's music. Playing in bars on the sunny Florida coast and enjoying being young and on his own, it didn’t take long till Jeff ran out of $money$ and headed back to Maine in 1994.
In 1996 he joined the United States Marine Corps and spent the next 4 years of his life in Jacksonville, NC. It was in Jacksonville where he started building up a very strong fan base and folks would come see him play on a weekly basis. At the turn of the century, Jeff’s enlistment was up and he and his wife moved to Music City, USA - known to some as Nashville!
With the release of Jeff’s debut album "Twist of Lime" on Magenta Records in 2007, he had one heck of a CD Release concert! His hometown of Lewiston, Maine was the setting and it was held at the home of the Lewiston Maineiacs, the Lewiston Colisee.

NEW MUSIC, HERE & NOW!!!
Just wanted to let you know I've been hard at work in the studio for my long overdue sophomore album, and have just posted a new track for you to preview. The song is called "SLOW ME DOWN" and it's a demo that I did at home, co-written by the very talented Johnny Reid! I am so excited about the new album that I just couldn't wait to share SOMETHING with everybody, so I hope you enjoy this little "sneak peak"!!
I look forward to hearing from you about the track, and encourage you to check out the new pictures I've put up.
Hope you are having a great week!
