Sounds Like
...They had too much to drink and are having too much fun. The Feeder's sound is uniquely their own and ranges from hair band to honky tonk. If you like some of these artists you might like the Feeders too. Wilco, Whiskeytown, Son Volt, Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams, Uncle Tupelo, Johnny Cash, White Stripes, Buck Owens, Steve Earle, Neil Young, Poison, Bruce Springsteen, Social Distortion, Waylon Jennings, Lucero, Brad Paisley, Willie Nelson, Gram Parsons, Eagles, Jayhawks, Flying Burrito Brothers, Guns n' Roses, The Replacements, Bottle Rockets, Refreshments, Hank III, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Old 97's, Neko Case, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and the Straglers, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Scorpions, The Who, Pink Floyd, Merle Haggard, Tenacious D .
Jeff Coleman and the Feeders, finalist in the Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase, have become THE band to see in Central Arkansas. If they are playing you better get there early or you won't find a seat. Plan on staying late too. Its not unusual to hear 3 or 4 hours of music. Their sound is unique and yet the songs sound instantly familiar. They are one of the few bands around that can deliver dozens of originals and still keep playing. When the big names come to town, Jeff Coleman and the Feeders are the go to band. Opening for Cracker, Sonvolt, Old 97's, Candlebox, Big Head Todd, Jack Ingram, Marty Stuart, Ian Moore, Pat Green, Drag the River, Trainwreck, and others. Jeff Coleman and the Feeder's are some of the hardest working musicians around. If you have been out around Central Arkansas you probably have seen one of their amazing shows. If you haven't then you need to mark your calendar and catch the next one. Plain and simple, an evening with Jeff Coleman and the Feeder's is just FUN. A 17 original song compilation CD "Done to Death" is available as well as the newest Feeders album "AMERICANB." Jeff will also release a solo album called "New California" soon. And, another Feeders album is in the works as well!
Check out this video to "All the Way Down", filmed by Steve Whiteaker:
And here's another video from Steve. This time it's "Fire in the Hole."

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
XXX - If you meet the minimum qualifications as described above. Email a link for your MySpace Page and if applicable, a link for your website to: recordingartistsearch@gmail.com
Only send one email with your links. Due to the volume of responses normally received for these types of opportunities. After review of your material, you will only be contacted if there is an interest in attending one of your shows by a label representative. As such please to not send any follow up emails regarding selections. If you were not contacted back, there was not an interest.
