I grew up in Western Pennsylvania and graduated High School in 1979 at a time when all the steel mills were closed or closing down. A lot of people were put out of work and the economy of western PA was a mess. I soon found myself working in a bottling factory in Florida, which along with all the other problems of trying to be an adult, about drove me nuts. I have loved music since I can remember and I had wanted to learn to play the guitar since I was a small child. Depression had set in to a point that I had to do something to keep my mind busy and one day I stopped at a small music store on the way home from work. I bought a cheap guitar and tried to teach myself. After a couple months and blisters on all my fingers, I signed up for lessons at Lewis Music store and was taught by a old man named Bob Hall. Bob started from the beginning teaching me to read music, about the different scales, and chord forms. 20 years later I am in love with the blues and trying to write my own music, improvising the guitar solo's in the blues tradition. I know my style is not for everyone but I hope that other people will appreciate and enjoy my music as well.
Thanks for your interest.
