I have limited experiences with early versions of Ulead movie factory film editing software. That is what I have used to edit my current highlight reel as well as small skits and projects that I do with friends and people I work with.
Music
Here is the FULL video of the first film I wrote, directed, choreographed, performed, and edited: Dalibor Episode 1 - "Damsels"
Dalibor Episode 1 - "Damsels" FULL EPISODE
I have played drums in various bands for close to 12 years. My first band was a heavy, hardcore, metal band called Feces Pieces. My guitarist Steve (Farmer) has a site here on my space. And the bass player from that band, Paul, has an account as well (Feces Pieces). Visit them through my friend's list. Visit Paul's website to hear some of our tunes.
I also played in a hard rock, speed funk, stoner rock band called 5 lb. Brown for a couple of years. Had some fun shows and they were great guys to play with.
Currently, I'm jamming around with a band called Drunks Don't Lie (see profile in friend's list). They got some straight forward, catchy, hard rocking tunes. Shred from WBCN and Carmelita from WAAF dig 'em so hey, you never know what might happen.

Martial arts and action.
I studied and practiced Kendo for several years (I do like weapons based combat). I also studied Tae Kwon Do. I have had many great and positive experiences as a result, including winning 1st place at an official Kendo tournament. But nothing has been better than meeting and learning from such strong and positive people in the process.
But now, my main desire is not to be so competitive. Rather, I apply some martial principles to entertainment. I do it because it is fun to me, but sure if a good opportunity came from it, I'd follow up.
As far as favorite films go: Enter the Dragon, Fist of Legend, The Protector (Tony Jaa), Drunken Master II, Iron Monkey, Matrix Reloaded, 300, The Count of Monte Cristo, Ninja Scroll, The Exorcist (uncut), The Exorcist III, Silence of the Lambs, Seven, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Glengarry GlennRoss.
Television
Not a TV "show" but I did appear on NESN and Channel 5 news when both of those companies did special reports on Kendo.
But more recently, I was interviewed by the Boston Globe and they published an article on a Sport Armor sword instruction class that I teach at a weapons based school in Burlington MA. Also, Comcast network (CN8) saw the Globe article and interviewed me shortly after that. To see what Sport Armor looks like see My Videos. Fox 25 news also did a special on us.
Favorite TV show was Highlander the series.
Books
For instructional purposes I recommend looking at "Kendo: The Definitive Guide" by Hiroshi Ozawa. Do a google search and you'll find it. Big black cover with a Kendo player (kendoka) standing there. The diagrams are excellent. Also, "Training and Fighting Skills" by Benny Urquidez.

HELLO!
My primary intention for starting this site is to use it as an advertising tool to potential folks I may eventually work with in the film community. However, anyone who knows me in a more social manner (even if you don't know me and would like to) is more than welcome to come on in and shoot the breeze about whatever.
Generally speaking I prefer to stick with action filming. I just like it the most. Also, I have a martial arts background as well as fight choreography training with weapons, hand to hand, and some firearms. I have choreographed and acted in various independant film projects in the New England and Boston area. One of the bigger names I have worked with is Northern Light Productions. I helped them choreograph various fight sequences in the recently released History Channel documentary called "Slave Catchers, Slave Resisters". My knowledge applies to film fighting.
Please contact me if you have any questions. Also please check out some of the fighting clips which I posted in the videos section. Some are free form, most will be scenes that I choreographed and performed in.

Here is a short comedy fight I edited and choreographed. I am the one with the leather coat.

lol yeah that was pretty old school huh? but yeah i do alot of airsofting with friends. yeah we've done some tournaments before never came in first or anything all i got is the pistols tho my friends are the ones with the "heavy machinery" lol but yeah... do you do any kind of martial arts compititions or tournaments or anthing??? you put what youve learnd to the test??? but yeah dude you should really try it your biggest worry it going to be getting a main gun dont worry too much about gear right now just worry about getting somthing you can shoot with that packs a wallup... lol supposedly a rifle but it can be a pistol too... just make sure you know what your buying if it says .177 cal or somthing like that dont get it because the bb is not a regular one its metal and weighs about 20 time more heavy than what an airsoft guns bb should youll be looking for a gun that shoots 6mm bbs... i use a Co2 pistol and my friends cring ever time we go out and airsoft becuase they know it hurts... lol when they know im using it they put on extra shirts before we go out and airsoft lmao... but yeah if you get a rifle for your main youll want it to be an Automatic Electric Gun (AEG) if you get a pistol for your main your want it to be a Co2 or an equivelent... just dont do what my friend did and get a spring pistol for your main... lol its a good backup but youll want somthing that you dont have to cockback for every shot.... lol but anyways heres some web sites to check out...
i usually get my guns at the first one shorty... and i get my equipment (holsters slings bbs parts/upgrades clothing) at the airsoft arms... but yeah just check em out
Hey Jeff, I just saw your photos of you as Rude. Was that for a fan film or just a con? I wish I had seen them back when I did a Final Fantasy fan film, I could have used you as Rude. Oh well.
Really??? huh... yeah that makes sense but you think they would be at least a little bit dedicated to their students but yeah... yeah i agree on that... but then again your are right, yup sammo hung is one of the best martial artists... i think anyways and he deffinantly doesnt have the recognistion he deserves... lol i used to watch him on Martial Law... you remember that TV show??? it came on right before (or right after cant remember which one) Walker Texas Ranger back in the mid 90s lol i would always stay up past my bed time and watch it every saturday lol... but yes again you are right real fights are nothing compared to what is shown on kungfu movies and stuff its deffinantly not like the matrix... but yeah my street credintials are good, but compared to the other fighters im still very green... lol are fights are different tho... you ever see hard times or somthing like that with charles bronson??? its based in the 1920s in the great depression... are fights are alot like those bassically no shirts no hats (you can wears shoes tho) and anything goes (accept for weapons, blows to the groin or beating a man while hes down) other than that theres no ref just beating him unitl hes said stop or until you knock him out unconstious... no killing tho if its too much of a onesided fight one of the heads will stop the fight... you know.... its extra money, but i do it cause its fun.... lol but yeah i think boxing and brazilian jujutsu would be a good match... lol ill talk to ya later aight...
cool bro... yeah i took tae kwon do for about 2 months before i decided to stop taking it... lol i just dont have the balance for the kicking and plus i didnt like how they taught it they didnt do a real good job at intagrating me into the school they just threw me in and expected me to know what i was doing lol but yeah i think boxing is a better approach for me i have a heavy torso and stuff (still loosing weight im down to 290) and really thick arms and stuff so i think boxing would be good i have experience fighting and stuff too ive been to a few organized street fights plus ive been in about 5 brawls one of which was between me and four other guys and ive one every single on so far... i got speed and ALOT of power so yeah... what do you think??? i figure for kickin i can just do some stomp kicks aimed at my opponents knees or somthing lol aight well ill talk to ya later bro...
cool... sounds like your set to go then huh??? lol yeah thats cool man ill check em out... so are you still practicing martial arts anymore??? like in a dojo or are you doing privatly or no??? aight ttyl
hey whats up man... yeah i had to get a new one. the other one kept getting hacked and spammed and stuff. so yeah by the way i saw you put up some new vids while i was away.. lol but yeah dude thanks ive been working hard on it. the only reason my Apprentices blade is bigger is because the acutal blade itself that im useing as a point of origin is bigger than on my Saber so yeah.. still rounding out some stuff, tweaking my skills and stuff but yeah... so what have you been up to lately??? anything new since we've last talked?
