Christmas Prayer

I said a Christmas prayer for you
Because the season's near
I didn't ask for riches
But for gifts so much more dear.

I asked for joyful gatherings
With your family all around
And for carols to inspire you
With their old familiar sound. I asked for quiet moments
In your heart on Christmas morn
For a special time to celebrate
The Savior who was born.

I asked for friends to send their best
That you might know they care
I asked for peace and love and hope
And I know God heard my prayer peace

Hey Jeff,

Through a strange sequence of events, I found myself on Saturday doing backup vocals on a session produced by Mark Yeary, who is Merle Haggard's long-time keyboard player.  So now you know someone who knows someone who knows Merle Haggard

Merry Christmas and a Great 2010

Good morning Sexy :)

I hope you slept good and got all caught up on your missed zzzzzzzz's!  Cause you'll probably need lots of energy for all the fun stuff I have planned for us,lol!  Outside decorating, Christmas baking-yummy!  I got my menu all planned out and grocery list ready~afraid to see the grocery bill when I get done though-ouch!  I also planned some of your favorite dinners of mine for the week after Christmas-Zuppa, Almond Sauce w/ Shrimp over linguine, gonna make Cashew Chicken w/rice too, my mouth is watering just thinking about it all, lol! I'm so excited about being on vac till next year after Monday, and getting everything in order for Christmas and the kids visit! And you and me getting to be together for a whole week too while they're all here. Please pray for safe travels for Sis and the kids. Curt is in charge of the pumpkin rolls again! I don't have to worry about the Ham as you know my Best friend Patti took care of that for me~Honeybaked delivery for Christmas~so awesome! Definitely feeling blessed and hope I can make all the pennies stretch so everyone has a really nice Christmas with Mom!  We all wish our little Angel could be here with us too and she will be in our hearts like she is every day.  Maybe really soon all our prayers will be answered :) Well I better let you go gonna try and catch up on some comments on Christian yet.  I miss you but not for long!  Be careful coming over the mountain, see you real soon!  I Love You~Colleen XXXOOO

God determines who walks into my life .. It's up to me to decide who I'll let walk away,
who I'll let stay, and who I'll refuse to let go.I like you because of who you are to me ... A good friend!
And I will ALWAYS REFUSE TO LET YOU GO
And if I don't get this back I'll take the hint..
Proud to be your Friend!
Show your friends how much you care..
If it comes back to you, then
You'll know you have a circle of friends.
YOU ARE MY FRIEND
AND
I AM HONORED

This poem is very sweet. It will be interesting to see who sends it back.
Forward this on and back. Thanks!
If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you
and share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own;
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
are impossible for me.
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
A friend who's always there.

You don't need great keyboard skills for what you're doing - 95% of the work is using 2 fingers to tap in drum beats and bass lines.  Plus you only have to get it right once and then cut and paste through the whole song.  In the words of Rob Schneider - "You can do iiiiiittttt!"

Excellent choice on the new equipment.  I haven't used the software based Proteus stuff, but I have a Proteus keyboard (everything on my CD is Proteus sounds except for the guitars).
Take Care,
Dave

Good morning Sexy,

Hope you slept good away from home!  I always have so much trouble sleeping in hotels~yuk! I got all my Halloween decorations down inside, just need to get the stuff outside tomorrow hopefully if I'm back before dark got several accounts I need to visit though so they might have to wait till Thursday. Got to clean house too I swear Milo leaves enough hair around I could make an angora sweater, lol.  I'm so ready to get my Christmas decorations up.  Usually always have them up the weekend before Thanksgiving so I'm running late this year!  It's so relaxing and peaceful to watch the pretty lights at night and gives your home such a warm feeling too! I enjoyed my relaxing wind down time in the jacuzzi afterwards too! Sorry you'll have to wait till the weekend but it ain't goin' no where :)
I hope Ani's shoes get there by tomorrow she's all excited to try them on and make sure they fit and go good with her dress for Formal~she's so darn pretty and sure makes her Mama proud.  I can't believe she'll be graduating next year and off to college and Jake will be off to the Marine's this summer! I can't believe how time flies and my babies are all growing up and spreading their own wings and making their own mark on the world! Yes we have so much to be thankful for indeed! I know my Angel will too and I know one day my prayers will be answered and we will all be reunited again! That Let God part is coming I truly believe it :)
Well I better quit with the book while I'm ahead lol!  I miss you but only for a couple more days :)  Have a super day today!  I love you~Colleen XXXOOO

Good morning Handsome :)

I hope you slept great and got all caught up on the zzz's that you missed over the weekend with all the puppies together, lol!  Kinda glad I missed that one though!!! I'm glad you and Mick had a wonderful Thanksgiving and got to spend time with family too!  I am so blessed God looked out for me with the long trip in that old car, lol!  I can giggle about it all now!  It was awesome taking Ani driving, and just getting to spend a lot of time with her Mike and Jake.  Mom was so surprised she cried!  I wish a good portion of the time up there didn't have to be getting all that paperwork done and I honestly don't know how I was able to get it done looking back on it now.  I don't even know if it all makes sense but hope God will take care of the rest and do his part in the miracle department next :) I still get so emotional about it all and know something good most always comes from something bad but sometimes it's so hard to put it all into perspective and not question the Why's of everything that happened!  Just glad God has always been my hope and source of strength when there was definitely only one pair of footprints in the sand many days!  I can't wait for the weekend either and really need to get ready for Christmas and get my decorations up and ready for the kids visit~I sure can't wait for that next either!  I love this time of year, the wonder of it all~ and the blessing God gave us through his son Jesus makes you realize our problems and sacrifices with our own children are nothing in comparison. Hope you are ready to help me decorate, lol!  I miss you and I'm so glad it's count down week!  I have a lot of catching up to do around here, and managed to get my Christmas BG and songs up so that's a start!  Have a beautiful day!  I love you~Colleen XXXOOO
