Sounds Like
Somewhat in the fingerstyle of Leo Kottke or Mason Williams (classical gas). When composing I tend to use intrinsically pretty chord patterns. In production my songs contain an abundance of orchestral accompaniment.

Welcome to the myspace webpage for Jeff Findl. Jeff is a hobbyist guitar player who enjoys composing and recording instrumental songs. Jeff mostly practices his songs at home, but he keeps busy with the Association of Fingerstyle Guitarists and performs occationally at open mic venues. Jeff has had some modest musical accomplishments. At past Los Angeles Music Awards events, Jeff was awarded Instrumental Artist of the Year, and was a two-time nominee for Guitarist of the Year. Jeff's most recent CD - Beach Buzz Instrumentals remained on the New Age Reporter Top 100 Airplay Chart for five months (10/07 to 2/08). One of Jeff's songs was recently placed in a department store commercial. “Jeff Findl and the Acoustic Accomplices” is a group of eight (8) Los Angeles area musicians that recorded 21-original songs featuring the nylon-string guitar, piano, and other orchestral accompaniment. This musical group was a studio-created band brought together by Los Angeles record producer Ronan Chris Murphy (known for his past work with King Crimson) to record the guitar-based compositions of Jeff Findl. All the guest musicians that performed on Jeff's album have credentials that certainly exceed Jeff's. The elegant keyboards were performed by Giovanna Imbesi who has toured with Yanni and Andy Summers of the Police. The group also included bassist Ian Sheridan who actively tours with Jason Mraz. Drummer Victor Bisetti was a long time percussionist for the popular band, Los Lobos. In his touring days, pedal steel guitarist Dave Pearlman played with Dan Fogelberg's band. In 2004, Jeff Findl's solo debut album titled "Somebody Got Happy Fingers" rose to No. 5 on the New Age Reporter airplay top-100 chart.
