I was born in the Hunter Valley at Stockton and lived at Williamtown till I was 4yrs, then moved to Shortland. I was 18yrs when I moved to the north coast around the Woodburn area. I met a girl from Ballina and later we married and moved to a small town called Drake (between Casino & Tenterfield). We lived there for approx 18yrs, we raised two children, it was after the sawmill closed down we decided to move to Kyogle in 1996. I went to the Kyogle Bowls Club one day when the Kyogle Country Music Club were having their social day. It was here that I acquired the taste for country music. It was in mid 1997 that I started to sing and taught myself the guitar.
Hi Jeff, stoked to have you as a My Space friend - just had to stop by and say HI. Had another listen to your songs, thanks for the memories, just the feel of your songs takes me straight back to my childhood. Started singing at age 5 for old style ballroom shows and after my set I would climb under the venues pool table and go to sleep to these sounds, so thankyou.
