Although I do not have band members...I would like to acknowledge some people who have encouraged me to believe in myself and go after my dreams. As well, friends that have supported me and given me the strength to get back on the stage a couple of years ago and especially throughout this last turbulent and grueling year and SING!
Mom, Dad, and Denise - I have learned a valuable lesson recently in life and understand the value of family now. Thanks for always welcoming me back and accepting me for me. But most of all thank you for forgiving me for when I pushed you all away. I thought I knew best - I was wrong. I love you.

As well, there are a few professors that have made a huge impact on my life, so I would like to add, Sandra Poster- who was the first person to make me feel intelligent after scaring the b'jeezus out of me on my first day of college, Nan Morelli/White- don't be fooled she knows her stuff and has the greatest shoes of any professor I have ever seen, and Elaine Cichone- so warm, she just understood me - all around.
There is just one more person that I have to thank and this goes way back to the days when I could have only wished to have my own songs...Jiffer - thank you for giving me my first synthesizer...you changed my life. You told me that you are proud that I have come this far with my music - a long way since the days of "Creation" and "Touch My Body." But the truth is I am proud - proud to say that I have a friend like you. You were the first to believe in me and encourage me to go get it...and I thank you.
I am realizing that life is an evolution of experiences and that we have all come so far and yet we have so much further to go!!!

When I was a kid I was enamored with and empowered by Joan Jett and I still am. Since then, I have been inspired by the passion of Joe Cocker, the soul of Stevie Wonder, and the lives of both Janis Joplin and Ray Charles. But it is George Michael that taught me how to sing - OK, so it was by singing along with his CD's! Thanks George.

There was a time in my life after living and performing in NYC when I gave up on the whole music thing - or at least I gave up sharing my music with the public.
But one day I called my Father and told me that he had cancer - lymphoma. I broke down like a little kid and out poured "Don't Give Up." From that point on I couldn't give up. After all, I wrote the song! HA!
So...in short, I'm on a promotional mission, and hoping that "Don't Give Up" will be recognized one day as an anthem to stay strong and beat Cancer and/or any disease.
