Stitch N’ Pitch brings together two American traditions - baseball and the needle arts. Join us June 21, 2008, with your knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross-stitch, needlepoint or quilting project. Sit & stitch among friends, family, and colleagues while cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays! This is going to be a great evening full of baseball and crafty goodness. Fabric, stitchery displays, and camaraderie in a family-friendly atmosphere, not to mention a battle between the Rays and Houston Astros!
Tickets are only $20 and the first 500 stitchers who attend will receive an official Stitch N’ Pitch/Rays tote bag with some complimentary goodies! The Tampa Bay Rays have partnered with The National Needle Arts Association (TNNA) to make this an outstanding community event.
Also, stick around for a post-game concert featuring 80’s band Kool and the Gang!
