Influences
I have been doing comedy since the early 20's. It seems that way some times. I actually started in Houston TX in the late 70's. Kenison. Hicks, Jack Mayberry, Fred Greenlee, Mike Vance , were the guys I hung out with. I was on stage the first night the old Comics Annex opened.
I am an old school comic. I believe in being funny. I believe in set-ups and punch lines, that sort of thing. I believe in making the audience laugh. I believe when you take a gig you do it to the best of your ability and say thanks whan they hand you the check.
I do mostly corporate stuff now, I work for Royal Caribbean cruise lines because that is where the my audience is. The crowds on ships are great,I still do a few clubs.

Music
As with all things in life there is good and bad. I can listen to any genre of music that is good. What is good? I can't tell you until I hear it. There has been bad Dylan and Beatles as well as good rap. My favorite music is country but within this genre when it is good it is very good and when it is bad it is the worst!

Thank you so much for a fabulous seminar in Orange County last weekend! By the way, I'd love to read about why you moved to Ohio and about how you're making a success of yourself there, instead of in Hollywood. I'm not alone in being curious about this information, I'll bet. :)
