I am influenced by any good music. I love it all. Especially the pocket!
As far as bass playing is concerned, lately, its been mostly Pino Palledino and Mel Brown. However, the bass lines of the great bassists like James Jamerson, Jaco, Rufus Reid, Ray Brown, and Verdean White, will always be an influence.
