About me: FREE LANCE PRODUCER/ENGINEER/STUDIO PIANIST
Sound is what I am all about. It's not a field you chose to go into, its a field that chooses you. I am a sound engineering student at the University of Michigan. I have been learning and trying to master my skills as a recording and mixing engineer for music as well as working on the sound design for student films on campus including a feature length film "The Spiral Project." I spend most of the year in Ann Arbor except for my four month summers which I spend in Chicago, usually interning at a studio.
I grew up playing the piano, starting at the ripe age of 8. I played only classical music until I accidentally played a blues scale my freshman year of high school. From there my interest in music and the industry has continued to grow to the point where I am trying to make a life out of the interest.
Who I'd like to meet: Musicians, Engineers, Producers as well as Film Producers, Directors and Sound Designers.
