A unique cross-genre mix of the influences mentioned above with an underlying aggressive feel and desperate qualities from punk and metal roots.
Jeff Lemiesz is a singer/song writer who's influences span from a wide variety of styles including acoustic, americana, blues, alt-country, and classic rock.
Since the age of twelve Jeff has had a passion for playing music whether professionally with bands or at home with family.
Jeff's musical journey has taken him throughout the midwest performing and entertaining audiences both large and intimate.
Delivering a hi-energy performance and an eclectic song selection, Jeff has provided a great time for crowds both young and old alike.
Turkey Vulture Records released Jeff Lemiesz's debut album "Midnight's Comin'" in 2007 which got some recognition by breaking Jeff Lemiesz's music into the national circuit.
Jeff Lemiesz Band is comprised of four members that came together because of their common love of music and performing. The band was formed when members Jeff Lemiesz, (uncle) Dan Baker, (cousin) Luke Rekve, and (friend) Jason Z. all decided to form something special expressing their true musical talents and to do something different, going against the grain of today's "over-saturated" styles of music and breathing new life into Jeff's songs and live show by giving Jeff's songwriting skills the backing it deserves.
Jeff Lemiesz Band plans on doing shows in support of the new album "A Hundred Miles Away" throughout 2010. Pre-orders for the new album will be coming soon!!
