Influences
Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band, The Band, The Beatles, the Who, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Warren Haynes, Hendrix, Clapton, the hispanic guy with no arms that plays with his feet, Joco Pastorius, Carter Beauford, Zappa, Miles Davis, Zepplin and many small time, no name, great musicians we've all seen throughout the years.
Sounds Like
Combine the Grateful Dead, the Allman Bros., and the Band with an ever so slight touch of jazz/funk.
The Jeff Perigo Opus project that plays original rock and roll with a combination of "not always played" covers. We are currently seeking a keyboardist so we can start gigging more regularly. Jeff Perigo writes most of the songs and lyrics and also does most of the arranging. Bassist Scott Jeffreys has played with the likes of The Toler Bros., Dickey Betts, Tab Benoit. T.C. Carr and a variety of other accomplished musicians. He also has a heavy hand in the arrangement of the songs. Eric Miller is the best session drummer I have played with and there's not much he can't play ranging from complicated progressive rock to a simple, solid country groove.
Hope you enjoy the tunes!!
