various styles of music I love to hear and play.....
I'd like to consider myself a musical chamelion of sorts...
not really into just one style, but moreso music from the heart....
the fact that music is profound communication often without words.....

Jeff Pevar is a guitarist, composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger and vocalist who has recorded, performed and/or toured with some of the finest musicians in the music business including Crosby, Stills and Nash; Ray Charles; Donald Fagen (Steely Dan); James Taylor, Rickie Lee Jones, Marc Cohn, Joe Cocker, Kenny Loggins, Carly Simon, Phil Lesh (Grateful Dead) and many, many others.

CPR - Jeff is also partners in the band CPR which also features 2 time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, David Crosby (Byrds/CSN/CSNY) and his talented son James Raymond (see www.crosbycpr.com). CPR has released 4 albums since it's inception in 1997 and features compositions written by Crosby, Pevar and Raymond. The bands unique musical fusion of the individual talents which include David Crosby's legacy as a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, James Raymonds unique talents as a composer, singer and pianist and Jeff's R&B/Jazz and Blues roots as a composer, vocalist and guitarist is breathtaking and CPR albums have received high accolades by fans and critics worldwide.

Other History - Jeff has performed with various artists in Europe, Japan, Australia, Brazil and all over the US including performing as a trio with David Crosby and Graham Nash at Carnegie Hall. Jeff has also performed at numerous world reknown festivals including the Montreux Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Free Jazz Festivals and many others.

More Projects - Besides his sessions and touring work, Jeff is currently working on a solo project and also another recording/touring project called Jazz Is Dead, which is an interpretive ensemble featuring accomplished musicians performing interpretive arrangements that Jeff and the band has arranged from the music of the Grateful Dead interpreting it into a jazz-fusion/jam band/instrumental style that defies description.

Inger Jorgensen and Bohemian Soul - Jeff and his love, Inger have been writing and performing music together for many years now. Bohemian Soul is a project that Inger started with her friend and talented musical compadre Joe Deihl who also plays guitar in the ensemble. Musical plans include performances and recordings in the near future.
