The record is called "Welcome to Sleepytown". This is not the record I have been talking about. This particular album is something I have been working on since early 2008. Its finally in the can. Now here's the deal. Welcome to Sleepytown is a cd that is the soundtrack to a book. Yes thats what I said, a book. My brother Mark has written a fictional book called, you guessed it," Welcome to Sleepytown." I ahve always wanted to do the music for a movie. This isnt a movie , but its a soundtrack of sorts. The music is a little different than what most of my fans know me from. First of all, its all instrumental, no words. We just tried to let the music speak and let melody fly. Secondlly, its very down home, swamp roots, gospel, etc. The guys from the Sunday Best played on a couple of tracks, but otherwise its just me being an artist. I have to admit that since I have been working on this for so long, I had forgotten how cool this book and cd really is. If you want to know more, on my friends list, you can find Welcome to Sleepytown profile.
This book and record will be for sale next month. As for the other record, you all are highlly anticipating. I took a break for a bit so, I could finish the sleepytown record, and just to get a way from singing my ass off, for a while. There will be a new page for Jeff Randall and The Sunday Best coming soon. For now check out the Sleepytown stuff.
I have followed you guys ever since The Vibe Tribe started years ago. I really enjoy your music. I can't wait for you to put out another album. I will be waiting. I saw you at Kats benefit and you guys blew everybody out of the water.
Jeffyboy... Nice to see your getting props by singing with the Reflections... maybe you should come out and play drums for us a while too... Rock on bro...
Hey Jeff, Stopped by to check out the new tunes, they sound great! I'd like to get a copy of your stuff sometime. We'll do a little swapping. Take it easy bro, talk to you soon
Chief's Big Rig needs Jeff Randall to help with a cover of "Twilight Zone" by Golden Earring. I can't take no for an answer, amigo. Postlewait has the bass solo.
