The culmination of my life experiences and influences, and everything I've learned about music up to this point in my life. My musical journey is one of extreme passion that knows no bounds, and I will always be grateful for any and all chances afforded to me to expand my musical growth and horizons by maximizing each opportunity with which I am blessed to create music.
I'm a San Francisco-based composer, producer, arranger and recording artist who creates original soundtracks for film, television, documentaries, video games and all forms of interactive media and visual arts. All of the music you that streams from this page is composed, performed and recorded solely by me at my studio. Please visit my website at www.JeffreyChin.com for a complete bio, list of credits, and to listen to a library of audio samples of my work and compositions encompassing many genres of music.
My intention in maintaining this MySpace site is to seek out other like-minded individuals who are interested in creating art (aka all forms of visual art with music), and who realize how an original score composed and tailored specifically for their project will enable it to maximize and exceed its full potential. I look forward to networking and collaborating with filmmakers, directors, producers, cinematographers, music supervisors, other composers, and those of you who share similar musical interests, tastes and influences.
If you'd like to check out the jazzier/live performance side of me or take a listen to some of my productions and collaborations please visit my other MySpace sites listed below. Feel free to contact me with any inquiries, and thanks for taking a moment to drop by and spend some time with me and my music!

Happy New Year 2009 Jeffrey, and thanks very much for request & friendship... I like this opportunity to share our worlds... The Life of a man is made up of a series of dreams which write our history, as well as our children, who then start to write their own. I decided to continue writing mine as soon as I began to dream in early childhood. One doesn't need to stop the journey along the way. It is necessary to believe that the stars which light our way will never go out, and to continue to follow our dreams which inspire us in the most beautiful moments of our lives. If not, why is my star helping me to write so many fine melodies? I composed a suite for my dream, called " Melody for an Oscar", and I am convinced that one day someone will help me to reach for that Oscar in Hollywood, which I have always imagined in my dreams. WE CAN DO IT!. No matter what, my dreams have enhanced my musical creativity, and for that I am thankful. Warmest regards,
