Before I experienced the fresh flood of God's forgiveness, I believe my failures & sins were the colors which painted the picture of my life. Because of the cross & the empty tomb my life can no longer be understood in terms of my rebellion against the Creator; instead, I am held by the Hand of God (see Psalm 37:23-24). It (this life of faith) is not about how good I am; it is about how good God is. Some of my favorite Scripture which pointed me to a new life in Christ is found in Romans... 3:23, 6:23, 5:5, 5:8, and 10:9-10.
