.. Ancient Sumerian - Babylonian - Mesopotamian religion and culture between the years 6000 and 2000 BCE.I really enjoy cooking, especially traditional arabic/mediterian dishes. I would like to have links to traditional recipes here eventually.
I also like to do totally non-electronic/computer related things like thread crochet. :)

..I enjoy many different types of music. I can't really describe what I like but know it when I hear it. Opera to underground Hip-Hop....Movies
..I like old classic movies. My current favorite is Laurence of Arabia, Casablanca and Doctor Zivago. They're all very politically motivated propoganda films but I find them interesting especially with the current state of affairs in the US.There are some free movies (after something is 75 years old it's turned into public domain) at WatchFilms. Some of my favorites there are A Farewell to Arms and Private Buckaroo
Television
..I don't like to watch television. Most of the shows today don't have a lot to offer, in my opinion. I do like some of the programming done in the educational channels, like discovery, the learning channel and the history channel but not so much that I want to get a TV and waste hours each night watching what might be true. Let us never fail to realize that television programming is just that though, programming.Books
..I read mostly non-fiction historical books (ancient history) and religious works. I study alot of the canons from the koran to the Tao Te Ching. I enjoy a recently created genre my friends have been working on, taking ancient sumerian mythos and creating "retellings" or transforming the ancient text into readable modern day stories.Heroes
..Samuel Noah Kramer, Nikolia Tesla, Thomas Jefferson (wow opps those are all dead) There's a new professor out of France name Jean Bottero that is a humanist that is doing wonderful work. Anti-heros would be those "agents of disinformation such as Sitchin and David Icke.
