Providing the bombastic thunder of the low end drum kit, Jeffrey E. Villanueva has had a long and exciting relationship with music in general and the drums in particular. Born October 28, 1985 in the Philippines, he quickly emigrated to Baltimore, MD where he spent his formative years. First picking up the sticks of his craft at the tender age of eight, he promptly and incessantly beat the shit out of every available surface. After several pieces of furniture as well as his parents had been irreparably damaged, they bought him a drum kit. Finally equipped to make manifest his musical vision Jeffrey was consumed, practicing at every available moment. This dedication allowed him to join numerous school bands and ensembles in high school including the Jazz band and Drum line. With so much practical experience already under his belt he received a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. This was eye opening, as he had been completely self-taught through high school. As Jeffrey continues his musical journey, he will always embrace the continuous challenges of finding new ways to better improve himself not just musically, but personally.
