Jeffry Rott is a 55 year old musician, songwriter who started playing music at the age of 15.
In 1971 he came to a belief in Jesus and started writing songs about his newfound faith.The Jesus Movement was in full flower and he was living with the Philadelphia Jesus People. He formed his first band there called "Light of the Son".
Over the years he has played with Christian and non-Christian bands .
I play guitar,bass,keyboard and drums on most of the songs.
The songs are recorded on a Fostex FD-8 hard disk multitracker.I use a Behringer SL3242FX Pro mixing desk, M-Audio keyboards with a Roland S-330 sampler ,E-MU Proteus 1 sound module,and an Apple Mac computer,Alesis Reverbs ,M-Audio BlackBox guitar amp modeler
,Digitech FX ,Fender,Dean,Kramer,Microstar,Kay,Washburn, guitars and basses ,and other stuff.
Hi Jeff, All is well here. Thanks. We hope that you are well. I am putting up a couple of songs that I wrote and recorded in my bedroom a couple of months ago. I only used two tracks to record "THE DUMBEST COUNTRY SONG" which is a tribute to all that great music coming out of Nashville these days. The second song, "FAST, CHEAP AND OUTTA CONTROL", had a few more tracks on it. I recorded both songs live on the Garageband feature on my IMac. I hope to work these songs out with the new band that I am auditioning right now.

Hey, Jeffry. I'll definitely check into that site. If you aren't busy this Friday night and need an excuse to go to Iowa, my band is playing at the grand opening of the new BRG store. It's a long shot, but if you actually could come, it'd be really cool to hang out.
