About me:
Jeffrey E. Shaw, age 37, of 306 Shoun Street, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Friday, November 16, 2007. Jeffrey was a graduate of Johnson County High School Class of 1989 and was the son of the late Rev. Douglas and Mary Sue DeBord Shaw. He was an employee of Mountain View Exxon and an active member of the Johnson County Rescue Squad. He was the initial Johnson County 911 Director and also a former member of the Mountain City Fire Department. Jeff was a member of Rainbow Baptist Church. His hobby included cars and he loved NASCAR racing. Survivors include his wife, Sheila Shaw, of the home; one sister: Teresa Miller and husband Steve; one brother: Steven Shaw and wife Kim, all of Mountain City, Tenenssee; six nieces and nephews: Devin and Tyler Shaw, Karlie and Matthew Miller, all of Mountain City, and Lucas and Jackson Snyder of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services for Jeffrey E. Shaw will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2007 from the Roan Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Wilson and Rev. Ricky Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment and graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m.Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Sunset Memorial Park, Mountain City, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Brian Hutchinson, Kevin Colson, Willie DeBord, Matt Cress, Bit Brown, Jeff Reece, Wayne Lipford, and Brad Gentry. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Cress, Seth Brown, Employees of Mountain View Exxon, members of Johnson County Rescue Squad, Mountain City Fire and EMS, Explorer Scouts, Roy Stoneberger, Brian Stoneberger, and Tim Mahieu. At other times, friends may also call at the residence, 306 Shoun Street, Mountain City, Tennessee.
The 1st Annual Jeff Shaw Memorial Auto Show is an upcoming show in 2009 that will be on March 28th. It is a benefit show to raise money for the Jeff Shaw Memorial Scholarship Fund. Right now I am working on promoting the show so there will be a lot of entries!

Hot Rides biggest show of the year! Located in the Infield of Lowe's Motor Speedway. November 22nd, mark you calendars now!
10 'Best of' Trophies with $50 cash prize to Best of Show. Over 50 classes. Each class must have 3 entries to receive a trophy. SPL contest with $20 cash prize in each class. Must have have 5 competitors in each class for cash prize. Loudest Exhaust contest. Club Participation Trophy with $100 cash prize to the winning club.
Gates open at 10am for car show registration. Registration ends at 2pm.
Judging starts at 11am and ends at 3pm. SPL & exhaust contest starts at 1pm and ends at 3pm. Awards given out by 5pm.

You are invited to the fifth annual Battle Drag Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show. All proceeds from the show will be given to charity. Events include a bikini contest on Saturday October 10th. Preregistrations for the bikini contest are being taken now.

Just letting you know that I had a great time at the show even though the weather sucked and we got soaked. I did get some good pics of the rides though.
