Jeff Treece Band is a Knoxville, TN based band that tours over 200 dates per year. Many promoters compare JTB to Ray Stevens and Jerry Reed mixed with a little Jeff Foxworthy. JTB was formed in 1999 and since then has had ten number one songs to go with winning numerous awards. This six time Comedy Act of the Year has played the Grand Ole Opry, Dollywood, Maggie Valley (Ghost Town), Branson, NSRA Events, Silver Dollar City, Riverboats and many large fairs and festivals. During JTB’s many national performances the band has had the privilege to share the stage with such acts as Lonestar, Backstreet Boys, The Oak Ridge Boys, Tanya Tucker, Craig Morgan, and Josh Turner. Charlie Monk of Sirius Satellite Radio states, “This is one of the best acts to come down the pike in a long time. I believe soon the whole world will know who these guys are.”
In 2005 JTB was informed that the Marine Moms chose the band’s single, Angels Watching, as the organization’s official theme song. The song was a perfect fit for the organization because it tells a story of a mother praying for her son as he journeys through every aspect of his life, including war times. JTB donated their complete artist royalty to the Marine Moms. Angles Watching broke into the Media Base/R&R (Radio and Records) country top 200 in early 2006.
In November of 2006 JTB received the ICM (Inspirational Country Music) award for Trio of the Year. This made the third time the band has won this prestigious honor, also winning in 2002 and 2003. The awards show was held at the Acuff Theatre at the Opryland resort in Nashville, TN.
