Ramblin' Fever "Opening The Martin Delray Concert"
Jeff grew up listening to country music, and has played and sang most of his life. With his delightfully strong, baritone, country voice, he has attained much respect from across the state in the last few years. Wither he is singing a Merle Haggard ballad, or lighting fast tune from George Jones, the results are always the same. An extremely fascinated crowd, that just can't keep from clapping their hands, or tapping their toes to the beat.
Alabama Governor Bob Riley became a fan in 2006, after Jeff wrote a song for his re-election campaign titled, "Headin' To Montgomery Again" This song got him an invitation to perform at the Governors Mansion on January 12, 2007 for Governor Riley's Inaugural Kick-Off Boots & Bar-B-Q Party.
Jeff stays busy from spring to fall performing at many events across North Alabama and Southern Tennessee. Festivals, Fairs, Bar-B-Q's and Concerts just to mention a few. Many private events are booked each year also.
Jeff finished his first Nashville recordings in January 2006. The four original songs, which were written by Nashville artist/songwriter Steve Oliver are (Stoned Country, Good Right Hand, Lost In Love, and Rural Route). These were recorded at The Sound Emporium recording studio, and they turned out fantastic. "The Voice" of country music, Vern Gosdin stopped by during the session, and gave his stamp of approval. These songs are available on Jeff's 2006 CD "Stoned Country".
Jeff had national media coverage and radio play in April & May 2005 with his hit song, "I'm A Big Ole Bo Bice Fan", a song he wrote about American Idol contestant Bo Bice.
Jeff loves all the Old Country Music of the greats such as George Jones, Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, Vern Gosdin, and includes many of their hits in each of his shows.
Jeff and his wife Connie, live in a country setting in Hartselle, Alabama. They recently had the privilege of meeting and talking with the Legendary "George Jones". Jeff owns a wholesale welding supply business (Doyle's Supply) in Decatur, Alabama.
With two children, Logan (22) a Senior in college majoring in deer hunting, and Sarah (21), a Junior at The University of North Alabama (UNA), playing softball, the schedule stays very full year round.
Jeff has had the opportunity to sing at the World Famous, Legends Corner and Tootsies Orchid Lounge. Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, both of these venues are enriched with deep country music roots, and have been played by all the greats of country music.

One of the largest, single day Rock n' Roll parties in the valley's history is going to take place on June 7th at The Crossroads Music Hall, 115 Clinton Ave. E., in downtown Huntsville. "MUSIC 4 MEDS" is the "Concert to Benefit The Community Free Clinic". Doors open at 1:30PM, and music begins at 2:00PM, and will continue nonstop until the wee hours.
A minimum donation of $10.00 is requested.
I imagine we all wish we were wealthy enough to write a huge check to solve the problems that arise, but for most of us, the best we can do is pitch in a little, and try to get the job done. If you can afford to show up on June 7th and donate a few bucks, we promise to play our hearts out for you and make it worth your while.
Plan on coming out and being a part of this celebration. Together we can do a lot to help our community, and have a great time doing it! Hope to see you there!
Thanks so much for your help and support. - Sonny Edwards
