I am a singer-songwriter living and making music in Bakersfield, California. I am a life long musician and have been writing songs now for over thirty years. These days you can find me playing at coffee houses and other small venues where the people are warm, and the setting is perfect for up close and personal music.
Although I love all kinds of music, my style has always centered around the acoustic guitar, poetic lyrics, and the alternate tunings that I like to use. I like a song to sound, well, kind of pretty. My songs all come right from my life experiences - love, death, loss, wonder, faith, failure, loneliness and longing, joy, sadness, forgiveness and stillness.
The things I write and sing about mean a lot to me, and I hope others can identify with my songs as well. So many countless times I've heard a song on the radio, or being played somewhere, and everything I had been feeling and thinking and experiencing just stared at me like I was looking in a mirror and I felt like the song was playing just for me. I'd like to wish that once, somehow, one of my songs would have that same effect on someone too. Maybe you.
