.. jelaci (jĕl'ə-sē) zeal, ferver; love, devotion
aman (ā'mən) peace

Jelaci Aman was born in Elizabeth NJ. He grew up in a working class, industrial neighborhood (Linden, NJ}, coming of age in Manhattan's Lower East Side NYC (Alphabet City).

Embraced by the warm rays of the sun, Jelaci learned life's cold reality from the street. Evolving of a musical heritage (His second cousin Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer Samuel Anthony "Tony" Williams led The Platters steadily within the Top 40 during the late 1950's and early 1960's) along with the musical mentoring of bass extraordinaire, Tony Cimorosi, translates within the story Jelaci tells; running about the notes that he selects. What arrives is urban-charged, organically blended, soul folk rock. Sonic hues upon acoustic canvas.

Jelaci has performed diversely, from Huntington Beach California's metal band Citizen Kane to East Harlem NYC's P.M.P. Recording Studio. He is currently producing at Indy's Crown Hill Digital recording studio.

Lyricist, Musician, Engineer...Jelaci has something to say-which he knows how to convey; with effort as sincere as his smile. CD release Coming Soon!
