   The Jellyfish Archive's Blurbs
About me:
Photobucket

JELLYFISH produced only two albums during their four years as a band, but what great albums. Both BELLYBUTTON (1990) and SPILT MILK (1993) each sell over 1,000 copies per month - 15 years after their release.
One critic summed up Jellyfish's unique sound rather well when he called 1993's SPILT MILK "the best record the Beatles and Queen never made."

There are many JELLYFISH clips to be found on YouTube
and elsewhere, but quality of sound and picture can vary dramatically.
The purpose of this page is to provide a directory to those videos of higher quality or significance to fans.

JELLYFISH songs are available at iTunes and other music services.
Both albums are still in print and available from music retailers.
(All rights are assumed those of the band, label or video hosts.)

Here's the URL to EMI's official Jellyfish page where you'll find all five of the band's videos in the highest quality (you'll have to cut and paste this address):

A medley of Jellyfish songs that kicks off with a stunning cover of SUPERTRAMP's "Logical Song"...

Here's another new find, thanks to Graziella-
Medley of songs on Japanese TV, date unknown:

From German tv, here's the best live performance we can find of "Sabrena, Paste and Plato":

The original line-up performs "Will You Marry Me," an exceptional unreleased song

Here's ANDY STURMER's superb theme for the new TRANSFORMERS animated series - the full ONE-MINUTE demo, with an additional verse and chorus. It's followed by the finished version. Very decent sound quality on both.

Now here's the finished version:

December 2008 Update:
Someone recently posted this remix of Puffy AmiYumi's "Jet Keisatsu" done by Andy:

More to come.

Additional JELLYFISH Links are always welcome.

Hello!
Thanks for the request..

Melodic Hardcore, Emotional Hard-core and Punk Rock
have gained a lot of popularity and are now largely
accepted in Japan, so next should be Power pop!

Nice page!! I too look forward to viewing more Jellyfish rarities.
I hope this gets people blowing the dust off their old videos to find that obscure Jellyfish performance and share it with the rest of us appreciative fans!
