For the most part, TV blows. HOWEVER, I do occasionally enjoy 'Living With Ed','Mythbusters','How It's Made'... stuff like that if I happen to be in the room and the TV is on one of those shows and I can sit down for more than 5 minutes. History and Animal Planet channels are good.
I do like to watch Adult Swim, it's so hilarious and stupid.
Books
Edgar Allen Poe, H P Lovecraft,
Steven King's Pet Cemetary,
Bible,
Dantes Inferno....
..I never have enough time to read anymore and it makes me sad.
Basically, I love creating art and seeing other peoples art. Most of my ideas come from nature and the constant entanglement of life and death...how one cannot exsist without the other. There really is no clear beginning or end, just a reconfiguration of elements - pay attention and you will see what I mean. Southern culture is a big influence as well-I love the south - it's beautiful and creepy. Besides selling my art in galleries, I'm an international freelance graphic artist.
Music is my other love...the best time for me is hearing some live music!

OR...
anyone who doesn't make me want to run away screaming within an hour of knowing them...intelligent, artistic individuals... people that I can learn from...people who enjoy and respect nature...people who think just a little deeper and have some of the same contemplations. I do not enjoy being around people who talk just to hear their head roar :/

DAX RIGGS again and again!
I've gotten a few messages tonight expressing people's affinity for that song. It's great--totally dreamy; it turns my legs into spaghetti noodles, if you know what I mean. :) So how was the dentist for you? I'm hopped up on the vicodan, so I'm finally somewhat mellowed out. Ha. Here's wishing your dental issues were last traumatic. Kisses from Houston, honey.
Hey Jen, darlin, I saw this really nifty artist at AthFest. His name is John William Fesken. He did some really gorgeous installation pieces w/moving parts (you turned a little crank and the figures moved) and some other groovy stuff. I immediately thought of you; it is right up your alley. (and mine!! :))Go check him out when you get a chance.
