    Jen Ayers has a throat of gold that could go one-on-one with any rock diva. She's been singing, playing piano and writing music since age 5 and has performed thousands of shows across the country fronting Seattle-based indie pop/rock band Honey Tongue A classically trained pianist, Jen studied voice with nationally renowned coaches, David Kyle and Susan Carr. As a recording artist, she's worked with producer/engineers Brett Eliason (Pearl Jam, R.E.M., Neil Young), and Jason Brennan (Alanis Morissette, Bruce Springsteen). Her powerhouse vocals and gritty performances earned invitations to sing the National Anthem at NBA/MLB games coast to coast, a featured role in reggae/rapper Shaggy's video "Strength Of A Woman," and the opportunity to belt out Led Zeppelin tunes for "House of Thee Unholy" – a Broadway-level burlesque show extravaganza at Seattle's Triple Door. Jen likes to dabble in the dramatic, including channeling Steven Tyler in Dream On, an all-girl Aerosmith band, and taking on a lead role in an independent film for which Honey Tongue also wrote songs and performed – but, (sadly!) has yet to be released. In 2012 Jen released her first solo CD, "Every Day Is A Parade" – inspired by the magical island of Bali – that explores the journey from rock music to motherhood. The sound? Think AM Radio, singer-songwriter style with a dash of soul Mama and some Balinese bells and indie whistles thrown in for good measure.
