Jen Clapp is a singer, songwriter and guitar player. She started playing out in 1990, singing with acoustic trio Native Tongue in downtown NYC. Many twists and turns in the road have led her across the nation, through a few other bands and careers and, more recently, back to New York and life as a musician, mother and wife (not necessarily in that order). She has just released her debut CD, Lonesome Sunbeam, available for purchase at www.cdbaby.com/cd/jenclapp.
Thanks Jen, they were taken at The Uk Open Mic regional final a couple of weekends ago. I got through to the Grand final which will be held on December 6th. I've been watching your live video - It looked like a really lovely evening and your songs and voice as beautiful as ever. I am ashamed to say I still haven't bought your album yet. l'll do it tonight, I promise!! Every day keeps on throwing up even more stuff to do. My head's like a bloody Warehouse. Played a great gig recently with a duo from NY called Barnaby Bright. Do you know of them? Wonderful harmonies. Great to hear from you again. Keep in touch. D x

Jen: great to meet you and to have your CD. I listened to it on my way home; I don't think I'll be able to take it out for a while. What pretty songs you write.
Hello me dear, Hey it's only taken me 3 weeks to reply this time. Having a bit of trouble with myspace messages, so I've taken this route. Is that album finished yet? I started mine june '07. It's making the time that's the biggest problem - all the ideas are up there waiting to tumble out. Let me know when it's available, I know it's going to sound so beautiful. I'll speak more when I can sort out messaging. Nita and kids are great, hope yours are all well. Lots of love, Domxx
