Jen Holland is a genius of versatility The multi-cultured beauty raised in New York's Lower East Side writes her own songs and performs them with an energy, soul and dramatic stage presence. Prince, Tina Turner, Def Leppard were some of her inspirations as were Aalyiah, DAngelio, Yaz, and Wu Tang. Jen Holland started in the arts at an early age with tap, vocal, and performance training. During that time she was hired to record vocals for The Care Organizations national ad campaign song and went on to study gospel and music theory at The High School of Performing Arts in New York City.
As a young teen she kept busy appearing on a dance show called "Its Dance" that aired on WB Channel 11 . She also appeared in various hip hop music videos and continued to do vocals for up and coming hip hop artists. The thrill of the stage called to her and welcomed her live band group JC-One to open up for soul artist BILAL at CBGB's in 2002 and then again three more times with The Brooklyn Blues before its doors closed for good. She continued writing her own material and completed her first solo project "Water" in 2004.
Since then Jen has blessed many other venues including, CBGB's, The Miller Theater, Joes Public Theater, Nuyorican Cafe, Remote Lounge, The Baggot Inn, The Parkside Lounge, The Lobby, Center Stage, The Nightingale Lounge, and continues to rock all over the US with The Brooklyn Blues.
Her up coming projects include more music videos, films and her new show Hottest People in NYC. She will also be promoting and touring for The Brooklyn Blues album due to release in 2009.
Jen Holland is bringing something fresh to the table with her new-ish Hip Hip with a Rock Blues edge style. With her talent and spirit Jen Holland is destined for greatness....

AWW that sucks but at least you will get to see them. I was going to see P!nK in Boston thank god she came to NYC. I even brought the tickets to see her in Boston thank god ticketmaster refunded my money. Get those U2 tickets and have fun.
