Bio
JJ studied at UMASS, Amherst in the Jazz Dept. with the illustrious Dr. Horace Clarence Boyer III. After, she toured on the East Coast and in Europe and recorded with John Medeski, Dave Zinno, Paul Bryan, Jay Bellerose, Kevin Barry, Kenny Wollesen, Joe "Sonny" Barbato, John Abbey, Joe Fitzgerald, Oren Bloedow, Pat Sansone and Greg Wiezorek. Jazz recordings include 2004 Together in Time (duets with her father, Julian Jackson), 2004 JJ SINGS the Goffin-King Songbook, and 2005 Passaporto. Currently she resides in Austin, Texas. Austin musicians include: Billy Doughty, Jacob Wise, Gary Newcomb.
