Influenced heavily by anti-folk icons (such as Ani DiFranco, Regina Spektor), alternative rockers (Jack off Jill, Veruca Salt), and 60's folk singers (Joan Baez, Melanie) Jen's music is a unique blend of genres and styles.
Her most recent project, entitled "Exposed", will feature 12 brand new songs. The album is being written, produced, recorded, and mixed by Jen and is her most emotional and experimental album so far. The album experiments with classical and middle eastern music (the alternative-rocker "Like a Child"), goth-metal influences ("Final Chapter"), and piano-driven ballads ("Can't Breathe You Back" & "The Hunter")... but also stays true to her folk roots ("Susan").
