Books
I love historic fiction, adventurous & chic-comedy type things mostly. My favorites so far have been the Twilight series, Confessions Of A Shopahollic, He's Just Not That In To You, My Horizontal Life: A Tale of One Night Stands, How To Make Love Like A Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale, The Notebook, The Rescue, Cold Sassy Tree, Shakespeare plays, The Crucible, Pygmalion...and others. I don't read magazines as much anymore & steer clear from a lot of gossip/paparazzi driven things, but I love Entertainment Weekly, Self & Marie Claire. The latter two I especially think send a great, positive & realistic message to women.
Heroes
God & Jesus Christ. My mother & grandmothers for their beautiful spirit and strength. They've set an amazing example for me to strive for as a woman. (and hopefully one day as a mother) My Mom is truly amazing and beautiful, she's been through so much and is a shining example of the sacrifices that a parent's love makes.
