Jenna Bowen is the next big thing in country music. Her music is powerful and soulful and stays true to her traditional country music roots. Her voice has even been compared to Martina McBride's.
Jenna Leigh Bowen was born in the Mile High City April 30, 1988. She continues to live in the same city. Even at a young age, music was a large part of her life, especially country music. As soon as she could talk she was singing. Her mother told her that she had a beautiful voice and her cousin, Kelesy, encouraged her to become a singer, and she ran with it. "When I was about five or six, I decided I wanted to be a country singer, then with age, looked at other careers, but ultimately, went back to where I started!" Jenna's parents, Wendell and Diane, introduced their middle child to the country music genre. Her early influences were large acts such as Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks. But her biggest influences were the female singers such as: Trisha Yearwood and Shania Twain. Jenna took part in her elementary school choirs, but she felt that there was something more, even then. She tried out for solo parts in her school plays, and usually got them. Her first solo was in her third grade Christmas play. As she grew older her world opened to more country acts. The likes of Keith Urban, Katrina Elam, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, and Martina McBride helped to develop Jenna's passion for her singing abbilites.
Jenna has two siblings. Her older brother Zac and her younger sister Sam. In her free time, apart from her music, Jenna enjoys gymnastics, playing her guitar, painting and baseball.

Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
Christian
